There is a beautiful beach in 8 min. on foot. It takes about 20 min. to aquarium, and 25 min. to Kouri island by car. There are convenience stores and supermarket near there. It's perfect place to get away from busy city life. And it's very convenience for sightseeing in northern area of Okinawa island.

Due to the large size of our group, our schedule was significantly delayed, which resulted in our late arrival. At first, we had difficulty locating Pono 02. Thankfully, Russell was very responsible and always there to assist us. Moreover, the staff member was waiting for us at the front door and kindly guided me in opening it. On the second night, we played fireworks in the front yard, and on our final morning, we borrowed snorkeling equipment. Our experience at Pono 02 has left us with wonderful memories.

What a lovely little weekday getaway this place was. We live locally but not right next to the beach and having the beach right in front of the house is exactly what we got. There is a lovely walk along the beach and if the weather good, a safe place to swim in the sea. The home itself is comfortable and the best part was the large wooden deck which made sitting outside comfortable as it’s shaded from the strong sunshine. Julian was friendly and quick to respond if we needed to ask him something. The location is close enough to walk to a convenience store to pick up what you need should you forget to buy what you need before you come. Lovely stay overall.

I stayed with my grandparents and 3-year-old son.I enjoyed the warm log house, which also had toys and picture books for children to play with. It was the last trip for my son to have his beloved grandparents to himself before he became an older brother.During the stay, the grandparents seemed very happy to be able to relax.Thanks for the wonderful breakfast too!

I stayed with my family for 2 nights, and it was much better than using a hotel. It was a large family, so I needed several rooms, but it was a little uncomfortable because the room was only separated by curtains, but I slept with three families as a loft bed and a bunk bed. Aeon Mall and Mega Don Quijote were also close, so it was good for shopping, and the northern tourist attractions were also close. Above all, I bought Wagyu beef and Okinawan pork at night and had a barbecue, but it was especially good, and my parents loved it:) However, I inquired about the lack of instructions for the barbecue, but the response speed was slow. (He answered the first inquiry, but he didn't answer the second inquiry at all.) There will be a lot of guests using the barbecue, but it would be nice if you could write a guide for the accommodation equipment and guest needs! I had a 2 year old baby, so the slide was interesting, but the slope was very high, so I couldn't use it. It's a shame: (

Hikaru is very patient and friendly host. He is responsive and will make you feel at home. I reported the light in one of the beds and he responded if we want it to have it repaired immediately. We met the owner as well at the parking area and he is making sure that the parking lot is accessible. He even gave us instructions since we asked where to throw our garbage. Excellent place and service. Thank you.

This is really a wonderful stay. It is modern and comfortable and lived up to our high expectations!! The house is very well appointed with great linens, great kitchen gear, and even great gear for the beach!! Super convenient location to all things in Nago and a great launching pad for all activities on Okinawa. There’s even a Family Mart convenience store a block away for any quick thing you need. Strongly recommend as a wonderful place to stay.
