Although it is a remote island, there are also medium-sized food supermarkets, drug stores, various restaurants, and the main port, so it is convenient, and it is also a good location for northern sightseeing such as the Aquarium. There is a ferry to Iejima from the nearby headquarters port, where you can enjoy day sightseeing, and in the winter there are boats for whale watching tours.
