Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Uptown, Dallas

My two girlfriends and I could not have asked for a more lovely place to stay for a few days. The immediate area offered things to see, places to eat, and was within driving distance to downtown. We enjoyed Swiss Avenue and looking at the gorgeous old homes as we walked by. We especially enjoyed visiting on the front porch each morning and evening. We will definitely stay at Joanie’s again next time we meet up in Dallas.

We had a house fire and had to move out for repairs. What we thought would be a 6-8 week stay here turned into nearly 5 months. All along the way, Tasneem was helpful and flexible about allowing us to extend our time. The backyard is wonderful for relaxing with easy access to the canal walkways. Inside, the reclining couches are so comfortable that you may find yourself accidentally taking a nap! This home had everything we could need, including a crib and play area set up for our young son. Tasneem was fantastic as a host, responding immediately to any questions/issues that arose. For example, when we let her know that we thought there was an issue with the air conditioning (this is Texas, these things happen), a technician was at the house first thing the next morning, and a whole new system was put in the very next day. We had a fantastic stay at a very nice home and Tasneem is an excellent host that helped us out a lot during a stressful time. I would highly recommend booking

This is one of my fav air bnbs I have ever stayed in! It was so cozy and perfect if you need to visit friends in Richardson. I will say the dryer and freezer need to be serviced. The dryer turns off automatically every few minutes and the freezer door won't shut which means your food won't stay frozen. Pest control also needs to be called to the property because there were lots of little friends there. But if those services can be made I would recommend this place to anyone! We really enjoyed it.

This was a great place to stay! The house seemed well cared for, and everything was comfortable. We didn't have much need to get in contact with the hosts, but the one time we had a question, they were extremely responsive. They were also proactive about checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed! One detail that I would have liked to know, that was not clear from the listing, was that the backyard is not fully fenced in. It wasn't that big of a deal, but we were traveling with small children, and it's nice to have an enclosed outdoor space for them!

Overall this was a great place. Check in was very easy, and checkout instructions were clear after messaging Thomas to confirm. The house was spacious and served our group well and the location was convenient for us. We were told the hot tub was in fact not heated when we arrived which was a bummer for our group but aside from that the house was very enjoyable to stay at. This is still a house to have on the radar if we come back to the Dallas area.

The stay was great! The host was very attentive and even brought extra towels. The place was great, loved the laundry area and the location is walking distance from a Sprouts and coffee shops. Pretty quiet area as well. if you're looking for parking and don't find any on the street, there is covered parking I found right across the apartments that very convenient and close-by.

Beautiful home all recently renovated! Modern Amenities such as Alexa TV, faux fireplace, and cool bathroom mirror. Brand new appliances. Had everything you needed! This home was exactly as pictured. Very clean and comfortable. The location was near all of our activities. The host was very professional and prompt with responses. Only thing, the occupants upstairs were very noisy, which is out of the hosts control. The parking spots are very limited and tight, but is mentioned in the description. Overall we enjoyed our stay!!

Love the place cozy and perfect environment

This is a 1 bedroom apartment in a 4 plex building, top floor. The location was excellent, easily walkable to the art district area. The host was incredibly responsive and very accomodating. The room was big, the bed was big and nice, the internet worked well, and it was easy to get in and out. The art around the apartment was nice. On the downside, they need to do better maintenance on the building and making sure everything is ready for a guest to show up. Fortunately, the were very responsive and fast but the list of problems with the place shouldn't really be there to begin with and some of them never got fixed while we were there... and some I didn't even mention because it wasn't worth the hassle. Also, both of us got approached by homeless people near the building. They were harmless but the area isn't the best. Overall, it was worth the price and I'd stay there again.

We really loved our stay here! The place was so clean and quiet. Maddie gave us great recommendations for local food and we’ll definitely be checking in again if we’re ever in the Dallas area! They’re super nice and responsive hosts with a great home for a peaceful and quiet weekend getaway! The amenities within the complex were great too!

This house was PHENOMENAL!! We couldn’t believe we got to stay here- there was so much room, and it was gorgeously decorated!! We kept joking that it didn’t seem possible that someone had a house better than this that they would want to rent this one out!!

This place looked just like the photos.! It was perfect.! Not far from the interstate.! Walmart was about 10 minutes away. They were very helpful when I asked any questions.! This house was amazing.!! The outside area is the chill spot.! He has tvs everywhere outside so you won’t miss any that your watching.!

This house was perfect for our large group of moms and daughters. The neigborhood is quiet and beautiful and the property is verr private. Lots to do and lots of space so we didn't feel cramped.

We had a great weekend. The house and pool were clean, we felt right at home. Roy gave clear, easy to follow directions and reached out during our stay to make sure everything was ok and that we had everything we needed.
