Monthly Rentals in Upper Hunter Shire Council

I have a couple of kelpies that are nearly fifteen years old. I wanted a dog friendly place to stay to break up my trip to Millthorpe. This ticked ✔️ all the boxes. The dogs were comfortable and I felt safe to leave them while I explored town. Nicole’s place had lots of lovely quirky touches. Even the next morning I was noticing different things about the place. Very handy to everything in town. Would thoroughly recommend

Beautiful guest house! Amazing (and massive) station. The animals are e v e r y w h e r e. The night skies are boundless. Thank you to everyone on this lovely station.

We had a wonderful stay - I loved the Stables and it had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our holiday. The photos don't do the cottage justice - it is a beauty with a stream through the back garden and a log fire to enjoy. Christine, Mark and Buddy made us feel welcome and were very responsive . Unfortunately, and this does not reflect on the hosts or the accommodation, the cottage is quite close to the main road and truck noise did rumble through - ear plugs sorted that out though - and the bats who were temporarily in town for our stay! Being on the main road was good though as it was just a short stroll across for an evening meal in the local pub!

We had the loveliest time at Liz’s gorgeous slice of paradise. Liz, you really have thought of everything, and then some! We appreciated the thoughtful provisions in the pantry (marshmallows!), the bountiful breakfast hamper, and the delicious coffee (travelling with 3 small children & a dog on a full moon was a sliiiiight oversight on my part, haha!). The kids loved paddling in the pool, filling up the bird feeders with seed, and searching for fairies and goblins in the garden. Roasting marshmallows was also a hit! The beds were beautifully dressed and extremely comfortable, as was the rest of the house. We wish we could have stayed longer! We will most definitely be return guests, if you’ll have us!
