House vacation rentals in Upper Hunter Shire Council

This was a great venue for a weekend riding the local gravel roads with a group of friends. Excellent communal areas, and enough space for us all.

Host are super friendly and place is spacious and homely, much better than the pictures. Had a peaceful stay.

A very rare opportunity to stay in a historical building; it felt like the walls had many stories to tell! The dining table is definitely one worthy of grand conversations. I can’t wait for the opportunity to stay here again.

2nd time staying at Jonathon's place while down for work with the crew, great clean house with every thing you need at a great price..!

Very nice house, felt homey. Lots of bits to make the stay comfortable: A lot of cupboard food, tea, coffee, cleaning stuff, kitchen utensils, etc. Blankets on couches, lots of pillows. Some toys. The heater works pretty well, it does indeed warm up the whole place pretty quickly. Short walk from the main street, supermarket and playgrounds. Would happily stay there again if we go back to Scone.

A huge Thank You to Tonet for the absolutely amazing "Roo's Rest". prrfect location, feeling of being out in the country but only 5 minutes to all shops. We ended up staying a week, and could not have picked a better spot to do so. Tonet was always a pleasure to contact and her reply swiftly. Being a business owner, i have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful place. Thanks heaps Tonet. We will definitely be back for sure.

The house is been renovated to a beautiful, high standard. The kitchen was well equiped with all the appliances we needed, loads of plates and cutlery and little added touches of jams, muesli, fresh milk, bread and chocolate were appreciated. We visited in June and the house was always toasty warm. Beds were really comfortable with quality linen and warm blankets and duvets. The pub is the life of the town and a short walk from the house.

We had the most lovely stay at Jo’s cottage. Homely, welcoming and just what the Doctor ordered!

This place offers the right price for its location. Clean and tidy with a secure backyard for your dog to be off lead. Nicole the host had supplied a sheet of local services and sent a detailed message of eateries. Will stay again.
