Secret Garden Shepherd Hut. Superior & Luxurious

PhilRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a lovely place to stay. We were given directions to the hut but as soon as we arrived, there were plenty of small signs such as 'park here' 'secret hut this way' just to ensure you didn't get lost. These places can sometimes be in the back garden of a house but this was really private with an incredible amount of land to watch the chickens and pheasants walk up to the hut. The pizza oven/BBQ was really nice to use and Hannah was really responsive to bring more wood if needed. Marshmallows and breakfast hamper included and she had also added balloons and a card as it was my wife's birthday. The honesty box was a good addition to get extra beer, eggs, local honey etc too! Remember the marshmallow roasting sticks are extendable so you don't burn your hand like I did 🤣

Black Cat Cottage in lovely Wildboarclough

MatthijsRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely cottage on the edge of the Peak District. Everything you could wish for is present in the kitchen. Chris is very friendly, and there is a lot of privacy. The road up to the cottage is quite steep, so you might want to step out of the car to avoid scraping your towing hook on the ground (whoops). Because the cottage is quite old, the doors and ceilings in the bathroom and bedrooms are quite low, so if you are over 180cm you might hit your head once or twice. But the views and cosyness of the cottage is worth the hassle.

A vast landscape is displayed from a rocky outcrop, showcasing rolling green fields, patches of trees, and a winding river. The clear blue sky provides a bright backdrop, enhancing the serene natural environment typical of the Peak District region.

Beautiful 2 bedroom cottage, in the heart of Leek

Great cottage in a great location for accessing walks and for the town. Brough park behind the cottage was brilliant for us with a dog. Sarah was responsive to requests and organised with sending instructions. We had a lovely time. Thank you.

Fernyford Barn in the Peak District

RebeccaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Fernyford Barn is the perfect base for a holiday in the Peak District. There are so many things to do and places to visit just a short drive away. The barn is very comfortable, nicely decorated and perfect for families. We loved stocking up on food from the local shops and meat from the farm itself and cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. Neil and his family were friendly and welcoming hosts and our little ones loved meeting the sheep and exploring the farm. We’d love to return.

Cosy rural cottage in lovely big Cheshire garden

DawnRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Imogen has furnished the Mariannerie beautifully, it is rustic, homely and full of books, pictures and trinkets that she has collected, it is full of personality. There is everything you need in the kitchen, despite its small size. The shower is powerful and hot. We especially liked the tiny log burner and the rocking chair. Views out of the windows are lovely and the outside space is pretty, though the family's garden does adjoin so don't expect huge privacy. We walked the mile along the canal to the pub and enjoyed the sunset in their waterside garden. A great getaway, thank you.

Lovely stay! So peaceful, no internet connection and time to switch off! Only thing to note is it’s a hot tub without a jacuzzi system.

Tilly Lodge

MichaelRating, 5 stars4 days ago
My wife and I stayed at Tilly lodge for our 'mini-moon'. What can I say, the lodge was incredible. Everything about our stay was of the highest quality. You can tell home much thought and consideration to guests is given by Sam. Lots of little touches to make our stay unique and memorable. We opted to include a luxury package which made our stay even more special. On arrival we had lovely decorations as well as prosecco and a freshly baked cake waiting for us. The hot tub was so relaxing and the beautiful countryside was so peaceful. We would highly recommend Tilly Lodge and look forward to returning!
