Vacation rentals in Untertauern

Vanessa and I spent a week at the Moahof - our destination: nature, hiking, excursions, peace and simply a lovely time in a great environment. We came across the Moahof and were immediately convinced by the pictures and reviews! 😊 Communication with Eva worked out really great. The bread roll service was a very big plus for relaxed breakfasts with fresh bread rolls. The accommodation is very modern and has everything you need. It was very exciting to get to know the farm, the animals and the surroundings! You immediately felt welcome. Everything you need is within walking distance (regional farmers' shop, inns, small supermarket and much more). Nature is of course just around the corner! Even if the weather did not cooperate, we had a very nice time! (After all, there are rain jackets😉). Thank you Eva and Peter, we will be back! Vanessa & Jonas ☺️

Tanja and her in-laws, who manage the cottage, are very friendly and helpful. The location is of course fantastic and the cottage very nice. It should be noted that the electricity is provided by generator and is only available at a very reduced rate (light) between 9 PM and 6 AM. The heating is a furnace heater, which is good to know at this altitude and the temperatures there. Communication was good. The journey can be a little intimidating if you are new to the mountains - the navigation system says 100 km/h on mountain roads and thus calculates the travel time earlier. But you're more likely to be traveling at 30-50 km/h. It's good to find your way

Accommodation looked like the photos. The kitchen was well equipped, you just had to go shopping and you could get started. Clean and nicely furnished. Typical Austrian country mentality: hostess offered me the you directly, everyone greeted everyone and it was very familiar and quiet. Very nice scenery, typical alpine flair

Due to the house insulation and the built-in underfloor heating, we had a great and warm indoor climate in winter. For us, Christine is a real superhost. Their hospitality is always noticeable. We will be happy to come back.

The property is 15 minutes by bus from the Obertauern ski resort, good connection by bus. We were also able to make great use of the break day from skiing (walk to a small gorge and small waterfall). Manuela was super accessible, super friendly and flexible in everything, thank you very much! We were very pleased!

Our stay in Untertauern was fantastic! The apartment was very tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped. We especially enjoyed the comfortable beds and the breathtaking view from the terrace. The quiet location still offers a good proximity to many attractions in the region. A big thank you to the friendly hosts who provided us with great tips and were always available. We will definitely be back and recommend this apartment to anyone looking for relaxation in beautiful surroundings!

Great place and a good value for money in salzburger area! The inside looks clean and pretty just like the photos - 2 nice large bedrooms with a nice full bathroom in each (!), pleasant dining area, connected to the fully equiped kitchen and the living room and a lovely balcony with a fantastic view to the forest and river. You can also see the road from the balcony, but it's not a busy one and the double glass blocks any noise. The outside is prettier than the pics - it's a nice 75 sqmr apartment right above the owners' place (you have a private entrance) in a quiet neighborhood at the end of small village Untertauren. Location: 15 mins drive from Flachau and Wargrain, 45 mins drive from Eisriesenwelt (the biggest ice cave). You can have a nice stroll along the Danube River, take a cold dip or cycle and after about 5 km you get to a lovely big park with the prettiest petting zoo I've been to. And it's all free of charge. Really nice and helpful hosts and in general: very recommended.

My stay in Austria was very successful. The place turned out to be extremely pleasant, clean and located in a beautiful area. The views were breathtaking and the proximity to the ski slopes was a huge advantage. An additional plus were the amenities such as a sauna, terrace and fully equipped kitchen, which ensured a comfortable stay. The only downside was only one toilet, which was inconvenient with more people. A small hand vacuum cleaner for quick cleaning would also be useful. Despite this, I rate the whole trip very positively and would definitely come back to this place again.
