Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Union County

We had a team of 9 for a week and the place had everything we needed! Abbie was a responsive host and the location was fantastic. Memories to be made and non stop conversation starters. One of the most fun air bnbs that I’ve been a part of over the years. Thank you!

Absolutely perfect for a girls’ weekend! The space was amazing and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We loved sipping wine, laughing around the table, and soaking in the peaceful vibe. The location was convenient but still felt like a retreat. Highly recommend for a fun, memory-making weekend with your favorite people!

We LOVE Alto Cabin! Gorgeous scenery and very relaxing. The house is ADORABLE with something for everyone! Wrap around porch, game area for the kids, and an idyllic back patio, campfire seating all beautifully landscaped and decorated inside and out! We enjoyed yoga on the deck, a dip in the hot tub and games at the table (with plenty of seating for gamers which was a big reason I picked Alto Cabin). We each had our own rooms AND bathrooms which was another WIN! Saw some wildlife in the forest including deer and maybe even Big Foot?! LOVED IT!!! Thank you to our hosts for sharing this little slice of heaven!

We have stayed here multiple times while visiting the wine trail with friends. It never disappoints! We love the location to the wineries and the place itself is beautiful. Cheryl is always friendly and quick to respond to questions. We highly recommend her place!

This place is Perfectly located., whether you are looking for wineries or you are simply a nature lover. You are only minutes away from Giant City, Anna, and Carbondale. The true bonus is the hotub in back. ☆☆☆☆☆ Thank you Kim and we hope to be back.

Friends and I had a great stay. Beautiful old home that is nicely updated. We used Wrightway travel to get a shuttle to wineries, and this was a great home base. Would stay here again. A couple quirks to keep in mind while you’re planning your trip: there’s no real TV room. So, if your group intends to watch something as a group, keep that in mind. No full oven but does have a nice countertop air fryer. Lots of plates, glassware, and kitchen and condiment basics are included. The hot tub was nice! Also, we ate brunch at The Iron Whisk nearby and really enjoyed our food!

Nanny's Place was wonderful! It was the perfect location for all of our hiking adventures, close to restaurants and we loved being close to Rendleman Orchards for the apple cider doughnuts and apple butter. The personal touches from Lisa were so sweet! We had homemade strawberry jam, fresh bread, milk, local apples and marshmallows and sweet tea in the fridge waiting for us when we arrived after our long road trip. We will definitely be going back to Nanny's Place!

This was a great place. We'd like to try it again in the warmer months. We stayed during a storm and the home was very relaxing.

Great place to stay and within walking distance to great restaurant. Deb was amazing to work with and very responsive. Beds were comfortable and we had a great time. We will definitely stay here again.

Ashley and her lakefront rental were both amazing! She made check in and out so seamless and easy , place was juys wayt we needed As makanda girl I really enjoyed the peaceful private yet safe neighborhood feel a lot It was wonderful to sit on that bench and watch the sunset over the lake and was so serene Hope to stay there again sometime Ashley was great

Tammy was fantastic and kind. The place was great for a weekend of turkey hunting and close enough to get to the city to shop and find other things to do as well. We would stay again.

The hosts were flexible, friendly, and responsive. I have never experienced better. They were flexible with an emergency last minute booking. They made my entire trip to Illinois worth it. Thank you!

Tracy was easy to reach and very responsive and helpful w any questions. She was very hospitable but not intrusive. Her place/neighborhood felt safe. As a female traveling alone that was very notable to me.

Had the best time for a bachelorette party! Great deck and hot tub to relax. Had a bus pick us up and explore the Shawnee wine trail! Convenient distance to all local wineries!

We enjoyed exploring the many beautiful parks in the region, relaxing on the huge deck, playing pool in the game room, cooking together in the large kitchen, kayaking, frisbee golf practice, and hiking the property. We had a great stay with no issues and made family memories at this beautiful house. The house is set up well for visitors (e.g., light switches labeled) and has all the amenities one would expect when booking an Air BnB. Thanks for hosting, Mark!

This was by far the best little vacation we have had in a long time. The cabin was perfect for two of us. The lake with the canoe made for perfect fishing. I was able to travel around the property on foot. Very private and beautiful. The owner Tony is very nice, attentive, and seems like a wonderful guy. The owners really have provided everything you could think of. Loved everything about our stay and are already trying to find dates to come out again!

I have been on Airbnb for over 10 years and as frequent So. IL guests, this is our most favorite house ever. Hannah is kind and caring, and she keeps things simple (which other hosts could learn from). No big book of rules or requirements - this is how it should be on vacation! We immediately felt comfortable, welcome/at home, for our extended travel. This house meets all of our needs and our main priorities: well-equipped throughout, comfortable furniture and beds, clean, private, firepit w/wood, and what really stood out for us was the QUIET! We were so pleased that it's the quietest area we've ever stayed - no sounds of loud people - just beauty, along with a wide variety of songbirds, a pair of owls, an evening-visiting deer, and a small babbling brook. How idyllic and enchanting! The perfect place to come back to, after days exploration, to relax and meditate on life. I prepared all but one meal here, we had a wonderful fire one night and enjoyed rainfall from the covered porch.

Great place was clean and super nice will for sure stay here again Jason went above and beyond to accommodate us everything was excellent!!

Plenty of space to relax and have space. Well stocked kitchen to make meals. Sun porch was nice to take in nature. The hiking trails were a bonus!
