We had a wonderful stay on the farm and wish we could have stayed longer! Everything here was absolutely perfect. Marte is the kindest and most thoughtful host who will make you feel right at home. She even left us some snacks which were much appreciated. The property is so beautiful and brings a sense of peace. We got a great night of sleep and felt very comfortable and welcome here. We will definitely return next time we find ourselves in the area!

We enjoyed exploring the many beautiful parks in the region, relaxing on the huge deck, playing pool in the game room, cooking together in the large kitchen, kayaking, frisbee golf practice, and hiking the property. We had a great stay with no issues and made family memories at this beautiful house. The house is set up well for visitors (e.g., light switches labeled) and has all the amenities one would expect when booking an Air BnB. Thanks for hosting, Mark!

This was by far the best little vacation we have had in a long time. The cabin was perfect for two of us. The lake with the canoe made for perfect fishing. I was able to travel around the property on foot. Very private and beautiful. The owner Tony is very nice, attentive, and seems like a wonderful guy. The owners really have provided everything you could think of. Loved everything about our stay and are already trying to find dates to come out again!

I have been on Airbnb for over 10 years and as frequent So. IL guests, this is our most favorite house ever. Hannah is kind and caring, and she keeps things simple (which other hosts could learn from). No big book of rules or requirements - this is how it should be on vacation! We immediately felt comfortable, welcome/at home, for our extended travel. This house meets all of our needs and our main priorities: well-equipped throughout, comfortable furniture and beds, clean, private, firepit w/wood, and what really stood out for us was the QUIET! We were so pleased that it's the quietest area we've ever stayed - no sounds of loud people - just beauty, along with a wide variety of songbirds, a pair of owls, an evening-visiting deer, and a small babbling brook. How idyllic and enchanting! The perfect place to come back to, after days exploration, to relax and meditate on life. I prepared all but one meal here, we had a wonderful fire one night and enjoyed rainfall from the covered porch.

Brigid and Hank were great hosts! They showed us how everything worked and then the place was ours for the weekend. A very nice country getaway with gorgeous views. The fish pond had catfish to feed and they had just added a fire pit which was perfect for nighttime. If you go in the colder months, I would suggest bringing a few extra heavy blankets as it got very cold at night! Also their German shepherd was so friendly and we loved hanging out with her during the day :)

Really enjoyed our stay at the Dome at Blueberry Hill. What a unique experience. The host seemed to think of everything. We enjoyed exploring the property. The home was conveniently located to activities on our trip, but still secluded enough to enjoy the quiet countryside. The home was extremely clean and the hot tub was a very nice way to unwind after some bike riding in southern Illinois. Will definitely recommend to our friends looking for a weekend getaway to unwind.

This little glamping excursion was a lot of fun. We like to visit the wineries in the area, and this spot was affordable and provided us with a convenient location. While it is on the outskirts of town, it also has the feel of camping in a secluded area of the Shawnee Hills.
