We had such a glorious stay, we cannot recommend it enough. Carolina was super responsive and accommodating, gave us amazing recommendations of restaurants and kindly booked a couple of reservations for us. Everything is within walking distance throughout the city. The apartment is surrounded with beautiful views. The plunge pool was a lovely bonus to cool down in the late afternoon, not overlooked at all. Thank you again x

From the moment we made contact, our hosts made us feel truly welcome. Their kindness, thoughtfulness, and warm hospitality turned our first trip to Portugal into a very special experience. The accommodation was exactly as described — a charming, traditional home set on a vast plot of beautiful land. It felt incredibly secure with two gates, and the setting allows you to enjoy complete privacy or connect with the hosts and animals as much as you like. It really does cater to what you need as a family. The house had everything we needed for cooking, and the thoughtful touch of a few essentials in the fridge on arrival was much appreciated. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and we slept well throughout our stay. Our children especially loved meeting the animals and being shown around the grounds — it was such a unique and memorable part of the holiday for them.

Dajas Douro Valley was perhaps more beautiful than the photos! It was the perfect place to relax between adventures in Lisbon and Porto. We especially loved spending time by the pool by day and cozying up with a bottle of wine by the fire pit by night. Alexandra and Tatiana were very welcoming. A few tips for future guests: The property is nestled in the hillside which means it is at least 20 minutes from towns/restaurants. We rented a car which was helpful for exploring nearby areas, but be prepared for many narrow, steep and winding roads! We found that Waze gave better directions (less rustic) than Google maps. We also wished we had stopped at a grocery store to stock up on some food for our villa before arriving. I also recommend booking reservations at local wineries as we didn’t have much luck just showing up (midweek at least). My husband and I would absolutely stay here again!

We recently enjoyed a delightful week-long stay with our family at this enchanting house in the heart of Vila da Conde. The property's romantic outdoor architecture immediately sets it apart from the surrounding homes, creating a truly charming atmosphere. As a group of adults with children, we found the house to be perfectly suited to our needs. Located next to a small city park with a playground and cafés, the house offers easy access to local amenities. Historical sites and museums are within a short walking distance, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. The spacious interior, including three bathrooms, was a major plus, and the outdoor pool, seating area, and grill provided ample opportunities for relaxation and entertainment. We particularly enjoyed the nearby walks along the beach and fort. I was extremely satisfied with my stay at this house! From the very first moment, I felt very welcome. The house is exactly as shown in the photos – clean, well decorated and with a cozy atmosphere that made me feel at home. The location is excellent, quiet but at the same time close to everything you need, such as restaurants and supermarkets.

An amazing place to spend a few days, with lots of activities to do on the property. We recommend it for groups of more than 6 people to make the most of it; it is also very family-friendly. The owner was very attentive and flexible. No complaints, just compliments. We hope to come back!

The stadium was great, I would just recommend that they explain the location better, since the directions given did not take us to the house, we had to consult Booking. They could also have specified where the firewood and charcoal were. Kind Regards

We really enjoyed our stay. Maria Jose was very friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations and helped us arrange our airport transfers. This is a very lovely villa, well worth the price. Would definitely stay again.

The place is very quiet and in close proximity to the beach. Both bedrooms have views of the beach and ocean. Sitting on the terrace or balcony every evening and enjoying the magnificent view was a highlight in itself. The beds are cozy, there are plenty of blankets and pillows available. The kitchen is very well equipped with high-quality appliances. Rui is a very accommodating and friendly host, he was always available to us by phone and was able to recommend one or the other restaurant or shopping.
