my stay here was amazing, the apartment very nice and clean is surrounded by nature. I loved this thing. chaminda and his sons are very welcoming and helpful, they gave me several tips. there is also the possibility to rent the scooter with them and they picked up and organized the departure for me at the airport. I could also use the washing machine to do the laundry. I also had the opportunity to stay after the check out time which was very helpful for me. Thanks for your availability🙏🏻.i recommend it:)

So, you’re obviously looking for accommodation in south-west Sri Lanka – well don’t look any further than Sailor’s Bay. From the minute you enter this paradise, you will be welcomed and charmed by Dilan and his family. The environment is gorgeous – any stress totally disappears. Nothing is too much trouble. They are engaging, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure that every second of your stay is a second to remember. Our family (13 – 3 generations – ages 2 – 74) was continually astounded by their willingness to do the best by us . It was a sad time when we left, but happy in the knowledge that we will return. So, take my word for it – Sailor’s Bay will not disappoint even the most pedantic traveler.

Our stay here was comfortable and pleasant. The host was so kind and generous. Harshani even went out of her way to prepare breakfast and lunch for us which was delicious and homely. We felt right at home at the stay. The stay is 4mins walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The host was very responsive and the stay looks just like in the pictures -clean. Highly recommend this stay!

Ich habe in dieser Wohnung 5 Wochen während meines Krankenhaus-Praktikums gewohnt und bin sehr zufrieden mit der Lage, Sauberkeit und dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gewesen. Chandra und ihr Mann sind gastfreundliche, ruhige Vermieter, die jederzeit gut zu erreichen waren. Ich habe mich hier sehr sicher gefühlt. Diese Wohnung eignet sich für kurze und lange Aufenthalte in Galle. Mit dem Bus sind das Stadtzentrum und Unawatuna schnell zu erreichen und für das Krankenhaus in Karapitiya habe ich jeden Tag ein Tuktuk für umgerechnet 1,50€ genommen. Der nächste Strand ist zu Fuß in 5 min zu erreichen und perfekt zum schwimmen und für Surfanfänger geeignet. Ich würde wieder kommen.

Un logement impeccable avec grande cuisine équipée, SDB impeccable, jardiner et balcon privatif ! Le logement est à proximité de nombreux restaurants, café et commerce. À 5 min à pied des plages et des écoles de surf. Donc c’est vraiment pratique. L’hôte très accueillant, très gentil, il nous a aider pour les taxis ! Je recommande vraiment ce logement pour deux ou quatre personnes.

Ruwan ist ein überaus lieber Mensch der sehr darum bemüht ist, dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Die Unterkunft sah genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Alles war sehr sauber. Es gab einen Kühlschrank voll mit kostenlosem Wasser. Frühstückszeiten waren nach Absprache, was wir als sehr angenehm empfanden. Das Frühstück hätte ein bisschen mehr variieren können (es gab jeden Tag das Gleiche). Ruwan organisierte uns den Transport zur nächsten Unterkunft zum Uber Preis. Und der Fahrer war auch sehr nett. Wir haben einen Ausflug zu den Schildkröten und nach Galle zusammen mit Ruwan gemacht, den ich mir ehrlich gesagt etwas anders vorgestellt hatte. Ich dachte er ist so etwas wie ein Touri Guide der uns auch Informationen an die Hand gibt, aber er hat uns lediglich gefahren. Dafür empfand ich den Preis als etwas zu hoch. Aber es war dennoch sehr schön und eine gute Idee. Wir bereuen es nicht 4 Nächte bei Ruwan verbracht zu haben und können es guten Gewissens empfehlen. Gerne wieder dort.

Really nice little self contained unit in Unawatuna. Got everything you need and the outdoor balcony and bathroom are great and are something a bit different! Would definitely recommend for anyone passing through the area as I had a great stay here, with local access to beaches, gyms, shops and proper Sri Lankan food!

Très bon accueil , espaces extrêmement propres ...le seul bémol est la proximité de la voie ferrée...qui était bien indiquée dans l'annonce ...mais très bruyant quand un train passe ..j'imagine qu'on s'habitue mais en 3 jours on n'a pas le temps ... par ailleurs à 10 minutes du marché, de la plage ...bon emplacement ...

Lite svårt att hitta dit första gången. Men supertrevlig värd. Super fin utsikt, genväg till stranden! Vi är jättenöjda!!

This place is great! Sonali is so responsive and helpful. The apartment is just as described, clean and well equipped. You do have to pay extra for AC which is needed. The washing machine is wonderful to have and a really nice touch. We would stay again!

Absolutely amazing 😍 One of the best rentals in my life. Ideal for a big family or 2-3 couples, and the price is more than reasonable. Definitely exceeded my expectations. The apartment allows you to dive into the world of luxury ✨ Sparkling clean and has everything you need. I wish Anuradha to be full booked the whole year, because this place is worth it 🔥🔥🔥

This was our first trip to Sri Lanka, and it was truly unforgettable! Nipuni was an incredibly kind and friendly host. She was always quick to reply and shared helpful recommendations. We were lucky to have a wonderful family dinner with Nipuni and her mom , they you cooked an amazing local dishes for us, and we had such a great time together. OMG we love her crepes!!! It was by far the best stay we’ve had in Sri Lanka — a whole floor of the house with a private entrance and terrace, clean and cozy rooms with air conditioning (a rare find in Sri Lanka ), comfy beds, a great kitchen, and a perfect quiet location away from the road noise. I highly recommend staying here, and I would love to come back again!

Jula and Suranga (whose house it is and who lives there with his lovely family) were super responsive and proactive in communication. The house is right across the street from the beach and just a few minutes' drive from nice places like Shanti Shanti or Wijaya Beach. Suranga and his family had prepared a welcome snack when we arrived and even invited us to a home-cooked Sri Lankan breakfast one morning. The apartment is on the top floor of Suranga's house and looks very much like in the pictures. Note that the stairs are a bit steep, but the place has a nice small kitchen and good rooms. Also, their neighbour Assanta was a super reliable Tuk Tuk driver while we stayed there.

Jesper's place is walkable to the beach and surfing points in Weligama. Clean and simple pad to explore South Sri Lanka

一个大庄园，环境非常别致优美，里面有椰林，芒果树，杨桃树……地段也非常棒，紧邻海边，服务非常热情，宾至如归，也非常个性化，因为去观鲸回来晚了，多给我们一间房子延迟退房。可惜在酒店呆的时间还不够多，没有足够时间享受这么美好的环境。非常推荐。

We had a wonderful time! The place is absolutely amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The beach is really close by and easily accessible. The property and its amenities are fantastic. We even spent an entire day in the apartment because it felt so comfortable and the balcony is just amazing, we felt like being at home. If I visit Sri Lanka again, this place would definitely be my go-to. I’m confident everyone will enjoy the breathtaking view from the balcony and the stunning sunsets from the rooftop. Loved it!

Patrick is a great host who will help you with everything. He arranged a transfer for us to a villa, chose the best room for our needs and help with every query we had. He's always around when you need him and respects your privacy at the same time. The place is amazing for digital nomads (or people who would like to come here just to rest). Great wi-fi speed on every floor and at every place. We didn't need to be afraid of power cuts because of the generator which worked perfectly. The villa has an amazing view of the lake with a lot of palm trees with monkeys just next to you. Very nice pool which you can use 24/7 with fancy lights when it's dark. You can order tasty food at a very good price, which will be delivered to your laptop or to a place where you're chilling. Very good coffee (important especially for developers). The villa is away from the main road but at the same time just a 5-10 min bike/tuk-tuk ride from the market/wine store/atm. You would have 10 min walk to a beautiful beach where you can buy coconuts or pineapples. Surf rental is just a few steps from there. People here are friendly and helpful. Sunil (who helps Patrick) can arrange a bike rental or anything you would need. Just come to experience it!

I with my friends stayed here and we really enjoyed our time there! The place is lovely and 100% matches photo, Location is also very good - there're beach, cafes and big grocery store are in 15-minute walk. Kelani and Shantha were very welcoming and supportive in everything! Highly recommend this place, would love to revisit it!
