my stay here was amazing, the apartment very nice and clean is surrounded by nature. I loved this thing. chaminda and his sons are very welcoming and helpful, they gave me several tips. there is also the possibility to rent the scooter with them and they picked up and organized the departure for me at the airport. I could also use the washing machine to do the laundry. I also had the opportunity to stay after the check out time which was very helpful for me. Thanks for your availability🙏🏻.i recommend it:)

So, you’re obviously looking for accommodation in south-west Sri Lanka – well don’t look any further than Sailor’s Bay. From the minute you enter this paradise, you will be welcomed and charmed by Dilan and his family. The environment is gorgeous – any stress totally disappears. Nothing is too much trouble. They are engaging, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure that every second of your stay is a second to remember. Our family (13 – 3 generations – ages 2 – 74) was continually astounded by their willingness to do the best by us . It was a sad time when we left, but happy in the knowledge that we will return. So, take my word for it – Sailor’s Bay will not disappoint even the most pedantic traveler.

Our stay here was comfortable and pleasant. The host was so kind and generous. Harshani even went out of her way to prepare breakfast and lunch for us which was delicious and homely. We felt right at home at the stay. The stay is 4mins walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The host was very responsive and the stay looks just like in the pictures -clean. Highly recommend this stay!

I stayed in this apartment for 5 weeks during my hospital internship and was very satisfied with the location, cleanliness and value for money. Chandra and her husband are hospitable, quiet landlords who were always easy to reach. I felt very safe here. This apartment is suitable for short and long stays in Galle. By bus, the city center and Unawatuna can be reached quickly and for the hospital in Karapitiya I took a tuk tuk every day for the equivalent of €1.50. The nearest beach is a 5-minute walk away and perfect for swimming and for surfing beginners. I'd come back.

Just as advertised and a great location. Close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Very clean and spacious. Staff is lovely! If you’re a light sleeper, there are announcements early in the morning close to location over a loud speaker. Other than that, we loved our stay!

Ruwan is an extremely kind person who is very keen to ensure that you do not miss anything. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean. There was a fridge full of free water. Breakfast times were by arrangement, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast could have varied a bit more (it was the same every day). Ruwan organized transportation for us to the next accommodation at the Uber price. And the driver was very nice too. We took a trip to the turtles and to Galle together with Ruwan, which I had honestly imagined a little differently. I thought he was something like a tour guide who would also give us information, but he just drove us. I found the price to be a bit too high for that. But it was still very nice and a good idea. We do not regret spending 4 nights with Ruwan and can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to go there again.

This place was brilliant. It was spacious, very clean, had great ac and a powerful ceiling fan. It is so close for places to eat and five mins from the beach. I would highly recommend this room. The host was also very communicative and helpful.

Really nice little self contained unit in Unawatuna. Got everything you need and the outdoor balcony and bathroom are great and are something a bit different! Would definitely recommend for anyone passing through the area as I had a great stay here, with local access to beaches, gyms, shops and proper Sri Lankan food!

Amazing place with everything you need, it's actually more beautiful than the photos. We stayed here for a week and everything was perfect and convenient! The host family is very friendly and provided useful information about nearby attractions and food! Great welcome, extremely clean spaces... the only downside is the proximity to the railway... which was well indicated in the listing... but very noisy when a train passes... I imagine you get used to it but in 3 days you don't have time... Also 10 minutes from the market, the beach... good location...

This place is great! Sonali is so responsive and helpful. The apartment is just as described, clean and well equipped. You do have to pay extra for AC which is needed. The washing machine is wonderful to have and a really nice touch. We would stay again!

We stayed four days in the condo and it was wonderful. For starters, Valentine offered to rent a motorbike for a very affordable price, and by the time we arrived, we had it available. Communication, perfect. He was very kind and responsive to any requests. The place, very clean and cared for. Despite not being on the front line, it was very well located. It's exactly like the photographs! Definitely highly recommended.

This was our first trip to Sri Lanka, and it was truly unforgettable! Nipuni was an incredibly kind and friendly host. She was always quick to reply and shared helpful recommendations. We were lucky to have a wonderful family dinner with Nipuni and her mom , they you cooked an amazing local dishes for us, and we had such a great time together. OMG we love her crepes!!! It was by far the best stay we’ve had in Sri Lanka — a whole floor of the house with a private entrance and terrace, clean and cozy rooms with air conditioning (a rare find in Sri Lanka ), comfy beds, a great kitchen, and a perfect quiet location away from the road noise. I highly recommend staying here, and I would love to come back again!

A large manor with a very unique and beautiful environment. There are coconut groves, mango trees, and starfruit trees... The location is also very good. It's right next to the beach. The service is very welcoming. It feels like home. It's also very personalized. Because we came back late from whale watching, they gave us a house to check out late. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to stay at the hotel and enjoy such a beautiful environment. I highly recommend it.

At first, Google Maps gave me a hard way, so I wandered around a bit, but I felt better when I saw the place in such a great space. It was a little far from Hikadu and Main Beach, but it was good to go to Tuk Tuk, and it was a place where you could feel the very nice forest path and the beach at the same time. Very friendly family, welcome coconut juice and milk tea, and a bit of snacks we felt Sri Lanka's kindness and kindness again. It was a trip to stop by, so I only stayed one day, but it was a good thing that it was so comfortable and enjoyable.

We had a wonderful time! The place is absolutely amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The beach is really close by and easily accessible. The property and its amenities are fantastic. We even spent an entire day in the apartment because it felt so comfortable and the balcony is just amazing, we felt like being at home. If I visit Sri Lanka again, this place would definitely be my go-to. I’m confident everyone will enjoy the breathtaking view from the balcony and the stunning sunsets from the rooftop. Loved it!

Patrick is a great host who will help you with everything. He arranged a transfer for us to a villa, chose the best room for our needs and help with every query we had. He's always around when you need him and respects your privacy at the same time. The place is amazing for digital nomads (or people who would like to come here just to rest). Great wi-fi speed on every floor and at every place. We didn't need to be afraid of power cuts because of the generator which worked perfectly. The villa has an amazing view of the lake with a lot of palm trees with monkeys just next to you. Very nice pool which you can use 24/7 with fancy lights when it's dark. You can order tasty food at a very good price, which will be delivered to your laptop or to a place where you're chilling. Very good coffee (important especially for developers). The villa is away from the main road but at the same time just a 5-10 min bike/tuk-tuk ride from the market/wine store/atm. You would have 10 min walk to a beautiful beach where you can buy coconuts or pineapples. Surf rental is just a few steps from there. People here are friendly and helpful. Sunil (who helps Patrick) can arrange a bike rental or anything you would need. Just come to experience it!

I with my friends stayed here and we really enjoyed our time there! The place is lovely and 100% matches photo, Location is also very good - there're beach, cafes and big grocery store are in 15-minute walk. Kelani and Shantha were very welcoming and supportive in everything! Highly recommend this place, would love to revisit it!
