Home from home! What a gem of a place. Situated in a prime location with all amenities nearby. What suited us was the birdlife and the tranquility of the setting. Shirley-Ann is a delightful host and, after a month-long stay, we are now firm friends and will stay connected. There is not a negative aspect to report: only a rave review of a rare find! We look forward to our return as we visit family and friends in Durban regularly. I highly recommend this cottage. Thank you Shirley-Ann.

A home away from home....

Loved my stay here! Marian, Mauro, and Hajra (housekeeper) are extremely friendly and attentive. Not only are they great hosts but I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them. The unit was actually better than the pictures. I booked this place initially because it’s one of the few Airbnb’s that offered everything… A/C, fast WiFi, backup power, a full kitchen, gas stove, separate bedroom and living space, etc. My biggest priority was safety and this unit was extremely secure being in the back of the property with lots of gates and cameras. I don’t think there is any other Airbnb in the area that matches up to it. I would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful garden house with pool and ocean view. We really enjoyed working remotely from there and then relaxing in the evening or having a braai with the awesome hosts (and their lovely dogs) We had everything we needed. Total recommendation this one!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Annaleen's place! She was incredibly thoughtful and made sure everything was perfect for our visit. Her attention to detail was evident, yet she completely respected my privacy, creating the ideal balance for a relaxing and comfortable experience. The space is exactly as described and the backyard path to the very private beach was very welcome over the festive season. I truly appreciated her warm and considerate approach. Megan's cottages are an absolute dream. Peaceful, quiet, sea view, clean, Everything was just as she described. She communicates quiet efficiently and made sure we were super comfortable! We will definitely be coming back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there which was for 10 nights. During our stay there was both a water and power outage which were not within the host's control. One was due to pipe maintenance and the other due to a vehicle colliding with a power pole. At all stages Ashton provided updates and supplied water and a gas cylinder and burner, so we were able to make coffee which was great. Ashton offered us a refund to compensate for the situation however we declined. Keeping us up to date and providing reasonable solutions is what really mattered the most to us, so we weren't left in the dark, if you pardon the pun. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone, and we would happily return should we visit Durban again.

Highly recommend. Host was lovely and extremely accommodating. The unit was so clean and neat - not a single complaint. My children loved the little play area. Will definitely be back!

Was the PERFECT place for us to spend our one night stay in this part of Durbs, pity we couldn't stay longer! The cottage was beautiful and spotless, has everything you need and is set up to cater for any unplanned power outages in the area!

A very clean and spacious room, perfect for a couple who just wanna have quiet time for themselves. The ladies helping out are sooo nice.🥰 The place is surrounded by nature and you literally hear natural sounds. I would 200% recommend this unit for you. I'll be coming back again before the year ends. 🥰

I recently stayed at Gails place or more like a home away from home, and it exceeded all expectations! The place was clean, cozy, spacious, with a sparkling pool. Gail was friendly, communicative, helpful in every manner, and she made sure everything was perfect for the visit. The location was convenient, serene, close to the promenade and Umhlanga, which made exploring the area a breeze. I especially appreciated her warm, honest and caring nature. Gail was magnificent despite a few adventures with the local wildlife highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing, convenient, luxurious, getaway. We had a lovely stay at the garden cottage! The chair swings were such a relaxing touch, and the outdoor bathroom surrounded by plants gave a refreshing, nature-inspired feel. My son especially enjoyed the space, it was peaceful and family-friendly. A special thank you to Frank, who was incredibly friendly and thoughtful. He even gave us some bananas, which was such a kind gesture. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and charming getaway.

Thank you for the stay at your cottage and assistance with the extra fence over the gate it really helped us to relax and feel at home knowing our small dogs could not get out. Our dogs are escape artists. Host is friendly, helpful and attentive. We would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway in the Durban area.

I enjoyed my stay in Bonela. It was peaceful and Vusi was very responsive and helpful. The place was ideally located near the taxis so it was easier for me getting around Durban. I would definitely come back again. Highly recommend 👌
