What a wonderful spot! Coming from the icy Free State, the beautiful view and perfect weather was just what we needed. This place ticks all the boxes and Tamryn was the perfect host, making us feel right at home. A new favourite!

This was the second stay at Beate's place and I found it even better than the first time. The house is well kept and clean. I was Durban for the Comrades Marathon and the place was very well equipped for my needs. The location has many options for running. Beate gave me good guidance on safety and where to get specific items I needed to buy. I hope to be back soon.

Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

We had a very comfortable stay, the house was spacious, neat and tidy. Close to all the popular spots in Umhlanga. Hosts were responsive in terms of the one or two issues raised. Overall a good experience, would recommend this stay

The house has amazing ocean views and the sound of the waves was a beautiful background to our stay. A few steps from the beach, we had a wonderful time.

Britt & Mike's place is a lovely spot in Kloof which is exactly as described. It is spacious and tastefully decorated. The check in was easy and there were clear instructions in the room, including local recommendations. This cottage is very central in Kloof within walking distance of a few good restaurants. Just keep in mind it is on quite a busy road. We had a few bumps with checkout (not the hosts fault) and they dealt with it professionally and kindly.

The location was good, the house was jolly good, Essy was mega helpful, the facilities were fine, the grounds were delightful, the cottage next to the house was a pleasure, the gates worked well, and it was a decent place to stay. I thought it was useful value for the money. Before you arrive though you need to find a contact WhatsUp number because Roger was in Canada and the intercom at the gate didn't function. But that was a small thing. I'd be happy to go back again.

We had a relaxing and very comfortable stay in the Emerald Suite. The place is lovely, neat, clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped and there is more than enough space for a family of four adults and a fur baby. The estate is beautiful and the views were fantastic. Lots of walking and access to beaches was easy. Very well situated, away for all the hustle and bustle of the towns. The hosts Lucy and her husband, JP, were welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. They were very thoughtful and made sure everything was just right with our stay. The Emerald Suite is a definite must for a great and pleasant getaway.

Velly was very friendly and accommodating. the housekeeper was literally a phone call away. the apartment is conveniently situated and has everything one needs for a quick getaway. the staircase is very steep though and will not be ideal for someone who has mobility challenges. we had a very comfortable stay and it was excellent value for money.

Jannes place is was perfect for myself and my 4 legged companion. We both felt right at home immediately and Janne was quite quick with responses with the very minor questions I had. Jannes place is definitely something to book if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, well kept space. Definitely keeping this listing on a short list for future Durban visits. Aleks is an awesome host, she thinks of all the small things that we will need, that's what made our stay great, we felt very much at home. The only downside to this beautiful home is the driveway, it's very narrow and steep and a challenge to get up. Our stay was really really great, thank you Aleks...

Loved my stay here! Marian, Mauro, and Hajra (housekeeper) are extremely friendly and attentive. Not only are they great hosts but I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them. The unit was actually better than the pictures. I booked this place initially because it’s one of the few Airbnb’s that offered everything… A/C, fast WiFi, backup power, a full kitchen, gas stove, separate bedroom and living space, etc. My biggest priority was safety and this unit was extremely secure being in the back of the property with lots of gates and cameras. I don’t think there is any other Airbnb in the area that matches up to it. I would absolutely stay here again!

What a clean and comfortable stay I had in this very special Cottage! It was immaculate, and was equipped with everything I would need for a comfortable stay. The decor was charming, and the ambiance…so very ‘good for the soul’. Marné was a perfect host with a real gift of conveying info in a timely, clear, and creative way. Great place to stay. Walking distance from shops, restaurants and promenade. Getting into and out the loft bedroom is a little tricky with the low ceilings. Also standing in the loft you gotta hunch down to avoid the ceilings. The loft gets a bit warm, the provided air coolers and fans keeps the place cool. The bed is very comfortable and lots of storage space. The place has all the essentials for a comfortable stay. And little private garden. I had a great stay there. Well done !
