Visiting from the UK, Angela the host gave clear directions & gate entry info. On arrival we were greeted with a thatch roof rondawel in the most serene & private surroundings. Felt so tranquil & peaceful looking out over her beautiful garden. The rondawel has a lovely rustic feel & was spotless with the little touches of tea, coffee, sugar & milk plus some delicious biscuits & a dram of Sherry! There’s a fire pit to enjoy looking up at the vast African sky & a swimming pool to enjoy by day. Vervet monkeys were busy foraging & little duikers came to visit. We stayed here 4 times during our visit we enjoyed it so much. Angela gave us tips on places to visit & eat & was so friendly during our stays. We will definitely be back!

The Kamberg Cottage was exactly what the doctor ordered. A beautiful space that’s peaceful, private and perfect. We had a wonderful time there and will definitely be back in the future

Beautiful location on the farm. Excellent breakaway to rest and escape the rush. Beautiful view of the mountains and surroundings. The kids could walk on the farm and see the farm animals up and close. We loved it

So thrilled we had a chance to stay here - such a beautiful place, so quiet, with the most wonderful view of the woods, a river, and lake in the distance. Pauline is a fabulous host - her communication was excellent and although the cabin is really off the beaten path, her directions were perfect. She couldn't have been more helpful and we spent a blissful weekend there. No wonder it's hard to book here and it's a super popular place to hire. Long to return.

We booked Penny's place at the last minute and she was more than willing to assist us. The space is lovely, we enjoyed meals in the open plan kitchen with a view over the valley. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The shower was piping hot and clean which was superb on a rainy cold weekend. Full dstv bouquet allowed us to enjoy the UCI XCO races. All in all, an incredibly pleasant weekend. Thanks Penny.

Tracy’s place is awesome, close to shops and restaurants, effortless check in, will definitely return.

Hoopoe cabin is wonderful, peaceful clean and have an amazing view over Albert falls dam. Lots of wildlife roaming nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle. The hosts were warm and welcoming. The fresh eggs, milk and fruit was an added bonus. The fishing was top class. Awesome view of the dam and surroundings. We saw some amazing lighting storms and waking up to see the wild rabbits out front was a first for us. Will definitely be back again.

Paul & Jennifer's place is truely spectacular. The garden around the church are well maintained and beautiful. Thembani gave us a very warm welcome and the fire was already lit for us in the cosy lounge and even in the bedrooms the heaters were on to heat the rooms up for us. Dinner was delicious. The hole atmosphere was peaceful and very special. We were specially pleased that the venue was dog firendly and our 2 Schnauzers enjoyed the stay as much as we did. We can highly recommend this lovely place. It leaves a font memory.
