This cottage is really lovely, it’s a beautiful, calm and peaceful place - a perfect stop off for our long trip but next time I’d like to stay a few nights and explore the area. The cottage is well thought out - abasing attention to detail, including a box for the dogs (including treats, blankets, towels and bowls) a really nice touch. Also a pack of marshmallows to toast at the beautiful fireplace which is well equipped. Beds are really comfy too!

Staying in this little cottage felt like being in a hug - comfortable and snug. We could not get enough of the view from the lounge. The decor is both stylish and invitingly cozy. We have a new Midlands-fave. An extra is the fact that this gem is so close to many of our family favourite foodie places….. PS: we loved how Fortunate switched on the heaters for our later than planned arrival.

Peta is an amazing host. She gave us excellent recommendations and took us on a lovely walk. She really went out of her way to ensure that we had a good stay and that we did. The beds were very comfortable and warm, the house was cozy and we had stunning views over farmland. It was like living in a story book. She left us delicious bread, butter and we even had tea, coffee and rusks. The sherry was a lovely little touch. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem

A very big and spacious cottage within walking distance of the local shopping centre. The bed was large and very comfortable too.. We stayed there for 8 nights and had no issues at all. Britt responded quickly to any questions. Recommended Carl & Tracy Schafer Southampton UK

We loved our stay at Hum Lilly - even allowed to bring our little pooch which was an added bonus. Very private setting. Road is a bit of a challenge when it rains but doable (we have sedans and it was fine, just very muddy). The place has a lovely feel to it. It's basic in terms of supplies as it's self catering so make sure you bring things, as it's not like you can just pop to the shops if you run out (like we did!). We wouldn't hesitate to book there again. Loved the fire place in the lounge, the beds were SUPER comfy and all in all, I would recommend it. Certainly worth staying at :)

I loved my stay at Wendy’s cozy cottage! Everything was super clean and I felt safe at all times. Wendy and Gary were very welcoming and had great advice on activities for me to do and places to go. I will be back again and I highly recommend Wendy’s place to other travelers!

This was my 2nd time staying here, loved it so much! Took my parents this time and they loved it! The location is excellent and very accessible! Lots of amazing things to do and restaurants! Located between Nottingham Road & Lions River is so ideal, we spent a lot of time along Curry’s Post & Nottingham Road!! The dogs are so friendly we are major dog lovers, and we felt so safe, although there are others on the property you never seen them or hear them. Rooms & the cottage were serviced daily. Had a lovely time thanks so much Charlie & Sarah. Can’t wait to be back!

We had an incredible stay at this wonderful place as a family. The atmosphere was truly peaceful, and we couldn’t get enough of the amazing views that surrounded us. The property was serene and perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special thanks to our hosts, Erica and her husband, who were exceptional. Their warm hospitality made our experience even more memorable. Beautiful farm cottage, very clean and peaceful. The Midlands have great things to offer and to do. Most definitely going back soon!!

We stayed at Cindy's place for a wedding in the area. Cindy and family are extremely friendly and welcoming. The accomodation is very close to The Secret Garden Wedding venue. The farm is safe, secure and private. It truly feels like a home away from home. The patio in particular is absolutely beautiful. You will want to spend many hours taking in the cool air with your morning coffee or afternoon sundowners. We wish we had more time to spend relaxing on the farm before the weekend was over. Be sure to check out the farmstall for some good food and drinks.

Oh Lyn and Jack. You guys definitely need to add on the description how therapeutic your home is, u keep saying I’ve seen heaven with my eyes because of your home. The views, the scenery 🥹 to die for, the interior space and lastly my 2 little friends Billy and Lola (I miss them) your home is now our second home. It’s gorgeous I have no words breathtaking. Your service was top tier 🎉. We went hiking the next morning and the experience was amazing ❤️. God has really blessed you with such a beautiful home. My boyfriend said we are coming back really soon ❤️
