Vacation rentals with a kayak in Ulysses

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Mara’s home was beautiful, clean and the perfect place to stay for a relaxing long weekend away. We’d love to stay there again and will definitely be recommending!

Loved the place! The sunset view by the lake with a fire will remain in my heart. Russell was very kind with several sweet gifts. He is a great host!

This Airbnb was the perfect fall getaway! We visited the lake to soak in the autumn vibes, and this spot exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for our group of five, and the host’s recommendations made our trip even better. While the area is known for summer fun, I think fall might be the best time to visit. We had an amazing time exploring the charming shops, cozy restaurants, and stunning waterfront spots, plus the nearby vineyards are a must-see. Can’t wait to return next year when the leaves are changing again—absolutely loved our stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is spacious, spotless, and perfectly positioned right on the lake. The views were truly stunning—sunrises over the water were unforgettable. It was peaceful and cozy, yet close enough to town and nearby attractions. Communication with Ata was clear, friendly, and timely, which made everything super smooth. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing lakefront getaway, we’d love to come back!

David's place was beautiful! The view alone is worth the price you pay for the rental. I imagine in the summer that David's place would be a wonderful summer escape. 15 minutes away from Cornell and Ithaca college. Gorgeous view of Cayuga lake with private dock. Plenty of space for everyone in the family. Two bathrooms and air conditioning, both things that were difficult to find in the area. For those with mobility issues, be advised the bedrooms are located upstairs. Stayed in the offseason but plan to return again when it's warmer!

Great place for our group. We had 9 adults and 2 kids. Enough space to not feel on top of each other. Those with children really appreciated the amount of amenities in the house for them: crib, toys, books, etc. Really appreciated the local recommendations and access to kayaks/paddleboats. Very responsive if you have a question or need a rec on what to do/where to go.

We enjoyed our stay, the house is right in front of the lake giving incredible views. Would stay here again!

Due time was a great choice for the Finger Lakes. House was even better than we expected and well appointed. Would love to stay in the summer when we could take advantage of all the amenities. As it was it was perfect for our family Easter Break wine tour. Definitely would stay here again!!

Location, location, location! Right on the water, hot tub was great, comfortable place and it was just perfect for us. We loved the local wineries and other activities and it was so nice to come back to that beautiful lake view at the end of the day. Thanks so much Nick and Chrissy! We would love to come back one day.

We loved our stay at the lake! The views were beautiful, the cabin was peaceful, and everything felt right at home. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The cottage was just beautiful..right on the water. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen ready to set up housekeeping. Brochures available for area activities. The 1 bed available is able to sleep around 6 people ..lol.. the bed was very comfortable. There are other pull outs for sleeping.

A great little cottage overlooking Cayuga Lake. And we were greeted with a nice bottle of local wine when we got there. I would highly recommend this place, it was a great centralized location that allowed us to explore all around the Finger Lakes

Beautiful location! Kitchen and living room space wonderful with great views of the lake. Lots of stairs to get in and out, since it’s nestled on the slope near the docks, but we got our steps in! Also located close to the scenic falls and parks, and very convenient to Cornell Campus and downtown Ithaca. Host was super too. We had everything we needed and more.

Our stay at Kara’s was wonderful. We rented the house and the bungalow, both of which very clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. The pictures are exactly what you will get. Well decorated, comfortable furniture, and washer/dryer in both units. We spent lots of time in the water, and having kayaks provided was a bonus! The porches were great for meal times together and playing games. The beachfront was awesome for getting in and out of the lake, especially with the kayaks. Location was super. Just over a mile into town, so close to grocery store, etc.. We loved our stay here and would definitely book again. Kara was super responsive!

What a wonderful getaway! The lake cabin, fire pit and lake views were perfect and exactly what we needed. It was quiet this time of year and the view of the falls leaves on the mountain were stunning! The cabin was clean and well-stocked. Communication was a breeze and the hosts lovely! We were so glad for this gem of a place and owners.

Sunset Haven was a beautiful place to stay. It was amazing to look right out on the lake. The hot tub was wonderful to sit in even though it was cold. If you love to cook, the kitchen is well stocked with all kinds of things to make meal prep easy to do! I didn't want to leave!

My time here was very relaxing and worthwhile! The cabin was cute, cozy, and the land was beautiful. I loved sitting by the pond and having my morning coffee. If you walk to the edge of the woods in the morning, you can see spectacular sunrises because of how high in the valleys you are. I came during spring before things bloomed, but I would totally come here again during the fall or summer.

Nancy’s cottage was perfect for our little family of 4. We enjoyed card games on the back porch, meals al fresco w a beautiful lake view, and of course roasting marshmallows in the fire pit at sunset. The cottage was intimate and cozy and we hope to return on a regular basis. Thank you Nancy for being inviting and more than accommodating.

Beautiful location, it was so peaceful and quiet. Michaela was proactive in giving us all of the information we would need and was transparent in the listing. We really appreciated her details about some local places. The place was cozy and we loved the back porch!!

Had an amazing time at the serene location.. the cabin was cozy, clean and exactly like the description and pictures! Loved the time spent by the fire pit, making smores. The ping pong table added to the fun! Great place for unwinding close to nature. Thanks to Sarah for the prompt communication and support :)

We’ve stayed here three times now and love it every time. It’s peaceful and relaxing. Our dog loves being able to roam around without a leash and we love being able to unplug. Sherry is a great host and very accommodating and responsive!

Beautiful property in a stunning location! Cabins are small but very efficient. Beautiful sunsets at the dock. A great landing pad to explore the area.

My friends and I had a great weekend here! We especially enjoyed having fires and hanging out on the dock. Perfect location and was only a 5 minute drive into town. The cabin was just what we needed & I would definitely recommend to others.

The cabin itself was incredibly cozy, spotlessly clean, and had such a warm, inviting atmosphere. We loved that there was both a cabin and a bungalow on the property—it gave us so much space to enjoy. One of the highlights was the firepit that Ken had already set up for us, along with a delightful s'more bar. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our nights by the fire extra special.
