Moderne hytte med stor terrasse og idyllisk hage

Skjoldastraumen er et idyllisk og rolig sted med mulighet for flere aktiviteter og utflukter. Stedet er nok mest kjent for sine saltvannssluser som åpnet i 1908. Saltvannsslusene er de eneste i Norge som fremdeles er i bruk. Sandstranden på Notaflåt ligger sentralt og gir bademuligheter en fin sommerdag. I nærområdet ligger også Straumen skule. Her kan barna leke og spille fotball. Kjører du til Nedstrand finner du ikke ukjente Himakånå. "Straumen er Draumen"

Gå til sjøen for å ta et bad, hopp fra bryggen, gå en tur i skogen, plukk bær, eller slapp av på den store terrassen. På uværsdager kan du tenne i peisen og kose deg med å se på sjøen. Det er bålpanne på terrassen og grill tilgjengelig. Kort vei til den populære turen til Himkånå, Nedstrand og slusene i Skjoldastrømmen.

Idyllisk beliggende hytte i sjøkanten i Grindefjorden. Her kan en nyte roen ved fjorden. Egen strand og brygge, med tilgang til båt(summerfun). Sjarmerende hytte i "sørlandsstil". Hytten er liten men har det en trenger. Og erfaringsmessig så er det de flotte uteområdene som benyttes mest. Det er stor terrasse hvor en kan nyte både morgenkaffe og solnedgang når solen går ned kl 22.00. Brygge har spisegruppe til 10.

We really enjoyed our stay at this clean and well-maintained Airbnb. The apartment is well-equipped and had everything we needed. The view of the water is lovely, and the area is very peaceful – perfect for relaxing. It’s also a great base for visiting Preikestolen, which is just a short drive away. Having a parking spot right by the house was very convenient. Overall, a comfortable and quiet place in a beautiful setting – we’d definitely stay here again.

Maja's house has the best views which completely blew our mind upon arrival. In addition, the rental unit is very clean and spacious, and the access to a private outdoor space is such a luxury for us. Maja and her family are sweet and resposive, we would love to stay there again next time.

Erg genoten van ons verblijf bij Anders en Torhild. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien, ziet er prachtig uit en heeft een prachtige ligging. Dichtbij een baai waar je kunt zwemmen, suppen, hiken en varen. Anders en Torhild waren erg vriendelijk. Echt een plek om nog een keer naar terug te gaan. En dan voor een langere periode.

Kjempeflott plass! Alt var som beskrevet, huset er fint og oppusset innvendig, alt var rent og pent, stor og fin terrasse med gode solforhold. Tilgang til sjø. Vi følte oss som hjemme med en gang! Hyggelig vert som svarte raskt.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming house. The host had warmed up the entire home for our arrival and even placed fresh flowers on the table — such a thoughtful touch. The house was beautifully decorated in a nostalgic, “great-grandmother” vintage style, with lovely old books, furniture, and wallpaper that created a cozy and authentic atmosphere. Everything was perfectly clean and fully equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. We can warmly recommend this place to both small and large families — it’s child-friendly, has a spacious and lovely garden, and offers excellent parking.

Tusen takk for et nydelig opphold i oldermors hus og sansehagen. Utrolig gjennomført «oldemor» stil og en nydelig hage. Passet utmerket for 6 personer. Perfekt plass å ha afternoon tea da Nina har masse fine stettefat og fint tea servise. Rent, ryddig og godt tilrettelagt for utleie. Rolig og landlig plassering.

Feriehus i landlige omgivelser

Wir hatten drei wunderschöne Wochen in dem Haus. Haugesund, Bergen, Odda etc. sind von dort alle gut zu erreichen. Die Gastgeber waren super nett und freundlich. Wir wurden sogar mehrmals in ihr Haus eingeladen und haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt.

Feriehus ved sjø, fjord og fjell i Nedstrand

Lovely place in walking distance to a small supermarket and a cafe/restaurant. A short drive to a great hike and a couple of good beach areas. A little further a field within an hour was Haugesund and less than 2 hours to two beautiful waterfalls (Langfoss and Latefoss). The house had everything we needed included use of life jackets and a canoe. It was a last minute booking due to our previous Airbnb booking cancelling at the last minute. Camilla was extremely helpful in answering lots of questions and giving us recommendations. We could not have asked for a better host. Thank you!

Wij hadden een heel fijn verblijf en waren zeer tevreden over het vriendelijke contact met Johannes en Loes. Het appartement is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien, zelfs een kinderbedje en kinderbeddengoed voor onze twee kleine kinderen. Het uitzicht is natuurlijk geweldig en er is veel informatie over hikes en activiteiten beschikbaar. Zeer aan te raden als vertrekpunt voor activiteiten in de omgeving en als rustpunt voor een jong gezin.

Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft von Vilde uneingeschränkt weiter. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, der Blick vom Balkon ist super schön, unser Hund hat sich sehr gefreut im kleinen Garten zu liegen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll, wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt.
