They provided fantastic recommendations for activities, restaurants, and supermarkets, even reminding us to buy groceries before Easter closures—a gesture we truly appreciated. Nothing was too much to ask. They answered every question promptly, making our short stay effortless and enjoyable. The cabin was stunning, offering privacy and breathtaking views. Watching sunsets through large windows was magical, whether we were upstairs or downstairs. Mornings on the terrace, sipping coffee while listening to birds and admiring the peaceful horizon, were pure bliss. This place is a haven of tranquility. Jim and Line are outstanding super hosts. If you seek relaxation and exceptional hospitality, this Airbnb is a must. We’d return in a heartbeat!

great cottage really relaxes nicely

Thanks a million for this incredible stay! Your cottage is an absolute dream – perfectly equipped, cozy and with a stunning view of the water. We could have stayed forever! A special highlight was definitely the hot tub – just awesome! After a day in the impressive nature of Norway, relaxing there was priceless. The surroundings were also an adventure in themselves, we enjoyed every second.

I had a great and peaceful time with my family. The house is cozy and tidy. Tidy environment. The house has all you need to spend time. It also provides information on attractions if you want to see the sights. All information about the home operating instructions was presented in an informative way, so no more questions came up. My family loved it ☺️

Great place and very accommodating host:)

There were four of us in the house and we had a wonderful time! The fireplace provided cozy warmth. The house is spacious, clean and superbly equipped – nothing is missing. The quiet location right by the fjord invites you to relax and fish. We were lucky enough to see northern lights, minke whales and even a seal, and were also successful in fishing. A special highlight were our hosts, Eyvind & Camilla – an incredibly warm and dedicated family. They took remarkable care of us and even actively supported us during the heaviest snowfall. We would like to thank you again from the bottom of our hearts! We recommend everyone to check in here. We'd love to come back.

The house are beautiful and the views phenomenal. It's very quiet. The landlord is very nice, helpful and responds very quickly to the inquiries.

We were as a family in this beautiful house. The location and amenities were excellent. The contact with Jone was great. He was available at any time and always helpful. We will definitely be back!

Karoline’s cottage at the sea front is absolutely wonderful, a true paradise. We have been looking for a place to stay in southern Norway with our dog for weeks and Karoline’s place was the best choice. One that probably loved it even more than us was our dog who freely jumped into the sea any time he wanted and in the evenings laid on the terrace watching passing boats and seaguels. There are tons of things to do there, fishing, swiming or just riding the boat from island to island. We felt like at home and will defintely come back!

We spent a stop here on our round trip. The lock house is a very unique place to stay and nicely decorated. The service with the boat also worked very well. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, we could only drive out once. The boat is easy to control and we were also able to catch some fish. We felt very comfortable with the dog and will definitely come back.
