Amazing cottage! unique and thoughtful! loved it!

I had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Lakefield, Ontario. The check-in process was seamless and communication with the host was smooth throughout. The cottage was cozy and well-kept, nestled in a peaceful and quiet setting that made for a truly relaxing getaway. I especially loved the tranquil surroundings—perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. Everything was just as described, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a serene retreat!

Our stay at Lisa’s place was wonderful despite the power outage towards the end of our trip due to bad weather. The house was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. Lisa was incredibly helpful, kind, and considerate throughout our stay. She genuinely cares about her guests and went above and beyond to ensure we were okay. I can confidently say that she's one of the best host I've ever encountered. Overall, we had a great experience, and we highly recommend this place to anyone. Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Laughing Moose. The minute I walked in the front door I felt I could live here for ever. The incredible views, the spacious kitchen the stylish little pieces of decor make this place comfortable, relaxing and luxury. Janice pays attention to every little detail to ensure we had a fabulous time! From the selection of quality glasses, crockery and cooking utensils to the games and puzzles ( we completed a full jig saw puzzle between us) we had everything we could possibly need and much more. Even a thoughtful and delicious blueberry pie to welcome us !! We were visiting from Australia and planned this weekend with our two sons and families for a getaway together. It couldn’t have been more perfect and we made such fabulous memories. So much space for all 8 of us plus the 2 dogs! I can’t thank you enough for this special visit! Jeff and Jenn were very welcoming hosts. They provided us with amazing local recommendations of areas and things to do in the county which we did not know about. The kitchen is very well equipped. The view on the lake was stunning. The surroundings were serene and peaceful like the county itself. The location of the cottage is perfect as it's close to Picton and the parks.

We visited for only a night during the off season, but this place provided a peaceful, quiet getaway at a beautiful location. The lake is easily accessible and the views from the cottage are lovely. We especially appreciated all the things to do at the cottage from billiards to table tennis, board games, and even an axe-throwing game that made a visit during cold, damp weather still feel like a fun getaway. The hot tub appeared nearly new and was very clean.

Great spot for a relaxing time with the kids. Small beach perfect for very little ones, nice park and basketball all right there. Unit is well equipped and very clean. Thanks for a nice weekend in Bobcaygeon!

Great private place that offers everything you want for a weekend getaway! Host was very helpful and responded within minutes to all our questions. Highly recommended!

It was a great stay and very accommodating. Kids enjoyed the pool table and foosball indoors as well as the pool and lake outside. The kitchen and view of the lake was amazing. Lots of fishing was done from the docks and petal boat and some paddling from the kayak and paddle board (we brought this).

My family had a great time at the resort. Roberto was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The home was clean and comfortable and exactly as pictured. It was. Perfect spot for kids as there is tons to do on the resort grounds and you are 15 minutes from almost all major attractions. The pool was fantastic for kids with a very large shallow end, towel service, life jackets etc. will definitely return next time we are in PEC.

We had a great time staying in Kevin’s home. He is extremely kind and helpful! We felt right at home and very comfortable. We caught a couple of fish right off his dock! Beautiful home and really beautiful scenery. We will definitely come back!!

This was a perfect place to stay to experience all PEC has to offer. Jen was a fabulous host- very communicative and extremely helpful, especially as we enjoyed our first time in Canada. The resort staff were super friendly. The neighbors are fabulous and the house was immaculate and comfortable. Excellent experience from booking through our departure.

Really a great place to be . So clean, beautiful and spacious. I’m a young guy but this place had me thinking how I will be in my 70’s chilling with my fam . Crazy man . And the bed … idk about that one. Fam I slept like a baby . Woke up full of energy . My friends asked me if i had too much coffee. It was just the bed man . Oh don’t forget to go by the water . You’ll love it . Big thanks to the host . Will be back for sure.

Tracey was a great host and our group loved the cottage. We had a nice fall weekend and the views were incredible. The cottage had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away for a relaxing weekend on the lake.

Leah was very helpful in making sure our stay went seamless. Took care of plowing/snowblowing to make the property accessible to all areas of interest as with going had some awful weather.(Snow with more Snow). lol. Again she was very responsive with questions I had and Informative to the specifics of the area. Cozy spot, great to relax and unwind. Would definitely go again, perhaps a great summertime spot.

We love the lake. We have rented a few different places on the lake over the last 10 years. This cottage is amazing. It’s like we checked into a spa!!! It’s very privet and cozy. The small details of the cottage made my wife very happy, from the bath Salts to the high end towels. The view from the couch of the lake makes you just relax…. We brought up 3 snowmobiles to enjoy the local trails. The main trail is a short ride down the road so we could ride from the cottage. The outdoor lights were so beautiful at night!!! A lot of care has been taken on making its guests feel right at home. We didn’t want to leave!!! I highly recommend this for anyone looking to unplug and relax. We will be back! Simon.

Beautiful, peaceful, scenic cottage. Cozy and modern inside with a great enclosed porch overlooking the lake. Ample options for sitting outside, and lots of blankets and towels provided. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful through the stay.

I recently stayed at Peng's Airbnb, and it was an exceptional experience. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful decor and a serene ambiance that made our stay incredibly relaxing. What truly stood out was Peng's hospitality. We had a last-minute change in our guest list, and Peng was more than accommodating, making the adjustments seamlessly. Moreover, when we encountered a minor issue with a beeping appliance, Peng personally came over to fix it right away, ensuring our comfort was never compromised. I highly recommend staying at Peng's place for anyone looking for a beautiful and well-hosted experience.

Shannon did an excellent job communicating with us and provided us with picture instructions on how to use the hottub, firepit and remotes for the heat and fireplace. She was aware we were celebrating my fiancé's birthday and was so sweet to leave him a birthday card and chocolates. We were also pleasantly surprised to see she had a snack basket, bottled water, eggs, bagels and food in the cuoboards that we could help ourselves to at no extra cost. She was extremely welcoming and allowed us to take our time checking out. We loved our stay at her beautiful home and highly recommend this place.

Our first AirBNB experience and definitely won’t be our last! We stayed here over the weekend for my husbands birthday and visited Algonquin Park. The space was spotless and had more amenities than expected! Kim was even able to provide a Pack N Play which made our stay 1000x easier with two littles in tow. The park down the street was great too (90’s/2000’s playground equipment… pretty sure my husband and I enjoyed it more than the kids)! The best part was definitely that view! I don’t think we’ll ever stay in a hotel again after this experience. We’ve already gone on Realtor to checkout available properties nearby lol. Definitely recommend!
