Had a wonderful stay at Shangri-la. The house is very spacious, well apointed, with a beautful terrace. The house is outside Ajijic in San Juan Cosalá in a guarded community. We really enjoyed the quiet and the privacy. We had a car, but the local bus stops out at the main road (10 min.walk) for easy access. Pat the caretaker was very helpful and accommodating, a pleasure to work with. Fortunately all of the doors and windows in the house are screened. Apparently the mosquitoes are very bad this time of year, but we were very comfortable in the house. We would definitely return to Shangri-la on our next trip to Lake Chapala.

Private, secure area. Very clean. Gustavo was very responsive.

Great stay, nice and easy. Host was helpful and responsive. I would stay at this place if visiting Jocotepec again.
