House vacation rentals in Turrubares

This house was a great location for kids and family. Great biking options from the house. We had a great time and everything was perfect. We were contacted several times checking if everything was fine and if we needed anything. We left a few item at the house and they offered to ship them to us.

We loved the location the modern decor and the place was impeccably clean. We love the showers! Correspondence was immediate, and Shawn was very helpful and kind. He also guided us to great places to eat for the sunset on the beach. We would also recommend a day pass from Crocs for lunch, dinner, drinks beach access and horseback riding! Vida Hermosa and Koko for dining. We felt very secure and the pool was beautiful!!!

Lugar súper espacioso y familiar equipado con todo lo necesario

The listing pictures do not do this property justice! I could take a picture of the sunrise & sunset everyday and never tire of the view. The home is conveniently located an easy hour drive from San Jose airport. It’s secluded enough to provide tranquility and relaxation, but close enough to Orotina. We saw Scarlet Macaws almost daily & even spotted the more elusive Toucans a few times! The pool is incredible with a refreshing swim up bar & one end being deeper than 8 feet. We spent many afternoons enjoying this well maintained amenity. The beds are comfortable with the linens being a perfect texture for the climate. The blackout curtains & air conditioning create an environment that provides a complete recharge. Luis was a thoughtful & accommodating host ensuring we had everything we needed. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a binder detailing the property & a lovely gift of tea, coffee, & pool floats for our kids! This property feels like a hidden gem that is worth visiting!

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Jeffrey’s place. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The communication with Jeffrey was smooth and prompt. He gave us clear instructions and was very friendly. The space was clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were excellent ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor patio space. The location was perfect, very private, and we were also greeted by different birds everyday which made the stay even better. Overall, our experience was amazing and we completely recommend Jeffrey and his property. Thank you for letting us stay and we will definitely be back!

Great deal, lovely cottage, well equipped. Brad was very helpful and responsive. New AC unit works great :). Would suggest a vehicle, probably an SUV for Costa Rica generally. The driveway in is a ways from the main road and it's kinda rocky: we got a flat on our second day, really nice neighbours stopped to help us right away and it was only 10US dollars to fix at the autotica. Also, not the best auditory privacy, you can hear the neighbours clearly from the porch. Overall would recommend staying here!

Todo muy bien, como en las fotos. La única sugerencia es sobre la piscina qué caen muchas hojas de los árboles cercanos. Super recomendado!

The house is beautiful and very nice, an absolute pleasure. It was a bit far away from Jacó, which is what I was going for since I wanted the opportunity to view wildlife. There is a bus stop at the end of the road, which is walkable if you are fit. Uber costs about $7.00 to downtown. The host was nice and reasonable. However, I did have to request directions the morning of check-in, instead of receiving them automatically. And I received a message after 4:00 pm (check-in time) available for early check-in. It would have been nice to know we could check-in early because we took the bus to downtown Jacó with our backpacks and had to walk around and go to dinner with our stuff instead of being able to drop it off at the house first. The host also recommended that we go to a nearby river and pack a picnic because the river is beautiful. But it was only a dry riverbed. This made me think that the host isn't local and doesn't know the area. Also the stove did not work, so we could not cook.

Shirley, una excelente anfitriona, super amable, super atenta. Contestaba mis consultas (fueron muchas) casi de inmediato. La casa muy linda, amplia, segura. El pueblo, un lugar con exuberantenaturaleza, mi familia y yo tuvimos la oportunidad de observar lapas con mucha facilidad, otro tipo de aves y animales silvestres nocturnos. El paisaje con vistas a la costa increíbles La oportunidad de llevar a mis mascotas fue una de las cosas que más valore y agradecí, ya que la mayor parte del tiempo de ocio y descanso me acompañan, esto es un punto muy importante para mí. así que sumamente agradecida. mi familia y yo esperamos volver pronto. Álvaro y Aurora fueron muy amables desde el momento de la reserva hasta el día que nos fuimos, todo estaba muy ordenado, me encantó que reciclan y son súper organizados con eso, dan todas las indicaciones, son flexibles con las horas, el lugar estaba precioso, la piscina limpia, los perritos son bienvenidos y se sintieron bien, sin duda volvería

Muy bonito lugar, incluso más bonito que en las fotos. Mucha privacidad. Flexibilidad de entrada y salida. El host responde rapido. No tenemos ninguna queja

todo muy lindo, el recibimiento, la atención de irene muy amable, y muy linda se los recomiendo la verdad nosotros eramos 6 en total y llegamos super bien en bus para las familias que no tiene carro como nosotros llegamos super bien esta lindo como para celebrar un cumpleaños para un familiar espectacular 👌!!!!!!!

Anfitriones muy atentos, volveré al lugar sin duda alguna. A mí familia le encantó la seguridad y la tranquilidad del lugar.

Really good place, clean and great host. The pool was not in the pictures but it was ok. We didn’t know it was a hostel but we were alone so it was perfect for us! We would go again for sure
