Cosy old cottage, close to Huntly train station

A quiet, end-terrace cottage in Huntly, off the main streets but in easy walking distance to the train station and town centre. The cosy living room is fitted with an efficient log burning stove, and you will find a basket of wood on your arrival. The kitchen is located at the back of the building with access to a small, enclosed garden perfect for a slow breakfast in the sun or an evening drink on the lawn. Bell View offers a quiet get away in a comfortable space only newly renovated in 2023/24. All your home comforts under one roof. My place is located directly on the seashore with spectacular views and is walking distance to the village convenience store. It has a large, secure, shorefront garden, great for families with kids, solo adventurers and business travelers. It can sleep 4 people but ideally suited for couples. Quiet and peaceful.

Coshelly Steading is on the edge of Rothienorman, a village with a pub, a Chinese and an excellent Morrisons Daily shop, all about 10 minutes walk from the house. It is a newly converted steading, attached to our house and surrounded by fields. Plenty of parking, WiFi, TV etc. Dogs are welcome. There are mountains, the coast and many castles, all within easy driving distance and plenty of pleasant walks nearby. Free range eggs from our chickens, when they are in the mood.

Forglen Estate -Garden Bothy Hideaway

The Garden Bothy is our warm and cosy couple's retreat. Situated in a quiet corner the of the estate next to the Walled Garden it is an ideal place to hideaway for some peace and quiet and to enjoy the lovely walks around the estate. It is a stones throw from Garden Cottage, our other property which can also be booked if you want to bring company on holiday but have your own space too.
