The area was beautiful, I enjoyed long walks up the mountain every morning. The host was always available and very accommodating. Lugar muy acogedor, excelentes vistas, agradable entorno, mis hijos les encanto que el lugar tuviera frutas y plantas , se agradece el detalle de dejar pilots para los niños.

Todo excelente. El lugar estaba impecable, muy cómodo y tal como en las fotos. Nos encantó que el anfitrión dejara snacks y botellas de agua, un gran detalle. Muy buena comunicación también. ¡Repetiríamos sin dudar!

🟢 Alojamiento estupendo para cuando se asista a eventos en Hacienda Sitio Mata, incluso se puede llegar a pie. 🟢Un lugar bastante tranquilo y seguro. 🟢 Las amenidades son acorde a lo descrito. 🟢 Marlon esta muy atento a las necesidades. 🟡 El parqueo es al borde de la calle (Parqueo 1) pero tiene un espacio para guardar los carros a menos de 40mts mas seguro (Parqueo 2) un poco empinado pero mas escondido, de igual forma, la zona es muy tranquila. Muy recomendado.

Un alojamiento ideal para desconectarse de las labores cotidianas, la finca muy bonita y bien cuidada, la anfitriona Fiorela muy amable y siempre pendiente de ayudar y evacuar dudas.

Loved staying here! Charlotte was a friendly, responsive host and left great instructions that were very easy to follow.

Communication with the host was excellent. Very helpful and responsive. The cabin was great. Kitchen well stocked. Bed was comfortable and the view was beautiful. Note that the 5:30 am morning sun comes in and the animals get up that early. If you want to sleep in, bring eye covers and ear plugs. We had a lovely breakfast on the porch looking at the volcano. Overall, it was a good stay.

Nos hospedamos en la casa de Doug por una noche 4 familias, con 4 niños, la zona es de las más lindas de Costa Rica, tiene una vista espectacular y si te gusta el gusta el clima frío es el lugar ideal para unas vacaciones fuera de la ciudad pero bastante cerca. La cabaña super acogedora, equipada con todo lo que necesitábamos para las necesidades de todas las familias, Doug super atento desde el primer momento. La pasamos realmente bien - la recomendaríamos y regresaremos sin duda. Nos encantó!

This place was OUTSTANDING 10/10 experience. Would insist on telling anyone I know who visits Costa Rica to stay here. Wonderful having the restaurant just a few steps from our door, and the surroundings were incredible- lots of wildlife sightings just on the property as well as tons of fresh fruit growing. Only down side is yes there are some bugs because you are in the jungle, but if you can get past that, it’s the perfect place to stay.

Es un lugar para despejarse, su piscina es deliciosa. Tanto en la finca y a sus alrededores, se ven unos paisajes hermosos, sonidos naturales y puedes caminar disfrutando las montañas y un rico río… rotundamente lo recomiendo, su estilo propio y sostenible con la naturaleza, pero sobre todo lo que más me gustó fue como mis mascotas se divirtieron y cansaron de correr y curiosear.

Kathya war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit . Wir haben am Morgen gebucht und die Hütte war bereit als wir kamen. Wir hätten auch den grossen Pool benutzen können, leider hat das Wetter nicht mit gespielt. Wir waren 6 Personen ( 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder). Die Hütte ist sehr herzig, aber mit 6 Personen und viel Gepäck wird es eng ( aber da kann Kathya nichts dafür). Wir können die Unterkunft gerne weiter empfehlen und würden wieder kommen

Nos alojamos por qué teníamos una actividad en el monumento nacional Guayabo. La ubicación fue idónea por qué estábamos a 20 minutos. La estancia vale la pena y ofrece una vista bellísima para desayunar al aire libre. De haber estado más tiempo, nos hubiera gustado pintar u a piedra, pues la opción estaba.

La cabaña es muy bonita y tiene todo lo necesario. La información brindada fue de mucha utilidad, el encargado de la cabaña fue sumamente amable, servicial y proactivo. Fuimos toda la familia por ende iban tanto niños como adultos mayores y perros, y no tuvimos problema alguno, el lugar es igual a las fotografías y esperamos pronto volver! Agradecemos mucho el servicio y el lugar.

The villa was on top of a mountain and the views and manicured surroundings were breathtaking. The house was designed superbly. You open the two opposite sliding glass doors and a wonderful cross breeze keeps the villa very nice. The pictures do not do do it justice. You must experience it. The best way I can describe this place is tranquil and an undescribable peace. You open the doors and you hear the wind in the palms and look out at the pool and scenic mountain views. We stayed for 2 months and we miss it all ready! They go over and above on amenities and it is spotless and well stocked. We will remember Hugo's place for a lifetime! He has a grounds keeper named Martin who is a wonderful person and was attentive and helpful. The place is spotless. I can't say enough about the beauty and the wonderful time we had.

the place is really special - it is the people that make the place like that. we had a great time, even before arriving communication with Deiby was great, very fast and helpful. we could checkin earlier than 3 which was very helpful. we were a bit surprised that we had rented the entire house consisting of 6(?) bedroom and 3 bathrooms.. of course the three of us used definitely less. the road next to the house did not really disturb us, simply because waking up at around 5.30 with the first light became our regular time. the dogs are very sweet and accompanied us wherever we went. the pool is just beautiful as well as the garden. Dona Anna prepared a beautiful meal on our last evening and we had great talks (in Spanish). the kitchen in the house is quite basic but was enough for us, we enjoyed the blender to prepare fruit shakes. all in all it was a great and in my eyes a very authentic experience to stay.

Una vista súper linda a las montañas y el volcán, y la piscinita en la terraza muy agradable para pasar las tardes

Un anfitrión muy amable y un alojamiento súper limpio. La propiedad es muy bonita y la vista desde la casita es espectacular. Don Rafa siempre estuvo pendiente de que la estadía cumpliera con las expectativas

El ligar estaba increíble, contaba con una excelente vista y las instalaciones son muy cómodas y tenían todo lo anunciado.

Nos encantó el lugar. Está muy bien equipado y es muy bonito. También está en el puro centro de Santa María. Los anfitriones dieron instrucciones claras y respondieron rápido. Quedamos con ganas de volver más días. El bus/hospedaje está dentro de una propiedad en donde hay otra cosa, lo cuál lo hace seguro y también hay privacidad. Gracias!

Una zona hermosa, llena de paz y con un clima delicioso. Todo lindo, limpio y organizado en la cabaña. Dormimos deli y las cobijas eran perfectas para ese frío rico de la montaña, Jefferson súper simpático y atento. Agradecidos.

Nuestra estadía en la cabaña fue simplemente espectacular. Todo superó nuestras expectativas: la limpieza, los detalles, la comodidad… no tenemos absolutamente nada negativo que decir. La cabaña y toda la propiedad son hermosas, se respira tranquilidad y se nota el cuidado en cada rincón. Nos sentimos como en casa desde el primer momento. Sin duda, un lugar al que quisiéramos volver.

What a gorgeous space! The large room was the perfect spot for us to stop during our road trip. The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed. Natalia and Don Miguel were wonderful to deal with. The farm is located in a perfect place in the mountains to see the country, the view was spectacular! We were happy to be travelling in a 4x4, however the road to the farm is mostly paved. There are sign outlining where to go, it was easy to find with the instructions. We would stay again. Thank you so much!

Nos encantó hospedarnos con Mau. El lugar es tan cuál se ve en las fotos, muy bello y acogedor. Las vistas increíbles, la cabaña de madera preciosa. Durante la noche la temperatura bajó a 10 °C, así que hay que ir preparados para el frío. El fire pit dio una sensación muy acogedora al lugar. En la habitación principal fueron necesarias más cobijas pero en la otra habitación habían bastantes. Las camas eran muy cómodas. Cabe mencionar que el acceso al parqueo es un poco incómodo porque la entrada queda en una vuelta e íbamos en carros grandes. El anuncio menciona que alcanzan hasta cinco vehículos en el parqueo pero nosotros logramos meter 2 4x4, quedando espacio para 1 carro pequeño. Por la noche vimos muchas luciérnagas en los espacios verdes, y se pudieron ver algunas estrellas con el cielo despejado. En resumen el lugar de mau fue maravilloso, nos hospedaríamos ahí nuevamente :).

If you wanna experience some time in a beautiful little cabin in the middle of farm country on the side of a beautiful volcano, this is a place for you. The surroundings are spectacular. The cabin has everything you need and more. We loved it and we will be back.
