We had a wonderful time staying here! Michel and his family were very responsive and friendly. The home is lovely and full of character and charm. Tastefully designed and had thoughtful amenities including robust offering of pantry items. Bakery just down the street was a daily visit for fresh baguettes and other goodies. St. Mere Eglise is a wonderful base for all kinds of adventures and sight-seeing. We are not fluent French speakers, but between my very basic high school French and the ability to send messages via Airbnb we didn't have any issues communicating about the house. Would highly recommend!

Used this as a base to explore the D day beaches and museums. The location made these sites easily accessible and the American airborne museum is a few minutes walk from the house. Although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay do bear in mind the village is extremely quiet on a Monday with only the bakery open.

Excellent warm accommodation, quiet Impeccable house, impeccably clean. The house is super well located , close to discover all the beautiful activities and history of Normandy Our 2 little chihuahuas were really safe in the garden area.
