Such a comfortable and convenient place to spend a night. The view from the front windows was lovely particularly at sunrise this morning. Thanks so much Mel.

Nestled on a tranquil and peaceful mountain, surrounded by rolling grassland, built on a cliff with a stunning sea view which is accessible after climbing up a grassy slope behind, this place needs you to step outside to enjoy nature. We had a great sleep in the small cozy room. Besides basic breakfast, the owner, Greg, also provided us with freshly baked bread, which goes perfectly with butter and jam. His cat is super meek and gentle. Unfortunately, it was rainy and hazy the next day - no chance to see the sunrise from the seaside. The tunnel beach is temporarily closed, a bit of a bummer. However, it can be an option for escaping from city buzz, especially when the weather is nice.

We had a lovely time at Nik & Dave's. They were proactive in reaching out to us before we arrived, had the heater going so their home was lovely and warm when we turned up, and finally had a really nice kitchen. We travelled to Dunedin to visit family with our baby and the house was nice and warm for her to play in the living area. The house is close to the beach and restaurants so we had lots to do in our short stay. My family loved our time at Nik & Dave's and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a lovely warm place to chill or get out and have fun at the beach!

Beautiful view of the bay, very clean room. Loved the heated blanket! A little tricky getting into that driveway but luckily my husband has backed trailers and farm machinery, so he was a pro!! A nice, clean, comfortable place with a stunning view.
