Mullaghmore family holiday home with fab sea views

RebeccaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We were a family of three children aged 12, 9 and 2 (won't give the parents age!) The house was situated in a beautiful and picturesque setting with outstanding views from the living room. The house has all you possibly need from a home away from home. The area itself is quiet but within driving distance to Bundoran and Grange Des was super helpful and communicative. Overall a lovely and fantastic stay and a shout out and recommendation to Ahoy for coffees from Stacy and dinner in Harrison's in Cliffony.
The exterior view of a two-story building features large windows and a combination of smooth and textured stone walls. A streetlamp stands nearby, and caution cones line the road, which is paved with a light grey surface. Surrounding greenery is partially visible in the background.

Seafront Beach Apartment

Vidar VanRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Just like described, nice and cosy place. Few restaurants, shops and surf schools there. Restaurants closed for the low season but two of them is always open. Was wierd to put the heating on so that would be the only thing for us that it was a little cold and hard to get the heating system to work. Anyways a super place if you go to surf and chill, we had a super time there:)
The single-story home is set against a backdrop of a clear sky. A spacious driveway leads up to the entrance, framed by large windows. A detached garage is visible on the left. The exterior features neutral tones with a brick wall bordering the property.

Kilkiloge, Mullaghmore

AislingRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Fabulous location, place was perfectly suitable for us as a family with very young children. The house had everything we needed to settle in. Tristan was responsive when we had some WiFi issues. Kids enjoyed their rooms and beds. Only downside for us was the double bed was hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise a really lovely stay for a few days and we would definitely recommend. Mullaghmore is beautiful!

The Sea House, right by the ocean, Dungloe

PaulRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wonderful stay at the Seahouse in Dungloe, Co. Donegal. The cottage is set in picturesque surroundings with a gorgeous view of the countryside and nearby lake. The sunsets are truly lovely from the large kitchen window overlooking the bay. Lovely touches such as fresh flowers and scones when we arrived which was a nice surprise. The cottage has everything you could need and is beautifully decorated both inside and out, it's really a hidden gem 😀 Nearby beaches are Dooney, Naira and Portnoo are worth a visit, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend for a peaceful relaxing break away. We will definitely return!
The exterior of a renovated apartment is shown, featuring a slate roof and white walls adorned with a mural of an eagle. Lush greenery and small shrubs frame the entrance, which is complemented by a stone pathway leading to the door.

Eagle's Nest Apartment

What a wonderful place, thoroughly enjoyed my Stay in Leitir and already planning to go back. Anne's place is a great location to explore North and Sputh Donegal or just to stay in one place in the gorgeous surroundings. Dooey beach is gorgeous and the Wild Atlantic Way Sauna a wonderful find. Pop in to see Packie for a Pint and feel like a local, don't forget cash and to sign the visitor book. Friday Trad Music in Elliots a must see and the food in McCaffreys is delicious. Eagles nest has a menagerie of animals, say hello to Bob the Horse, he love Pears 😉, and the dog Bonny and the chickens are also happy to see visitors. Anne was a wonderful host and went above to ensure our stay was enjoyable, I'll definitely be returning

Absolutely beautiful place and scenery. It was very clean. Sheila was very responsive and quick to reply. She kindly left us some cookies, milk, tea, etc., which was a lovely touch. Just a short walk to the beach and the beach bar. Highly recommended

Mullaghmore Holiday Home panoramic beach views

We've been coming to mullaghmore since childhood and enjoy it with our children now. Sheenas house was very comfortable, location to village is great, could pop back to warm off after the beach. we love the local restaurants, henrys and daviss always a hit. The view of benbluben out the window is so peaceful. The kids loved their own space upstairs. We will be back.

Greenfort Cottage

Lovely flagstoned home with beach access. You would need a car if staying here. Very quiet and dark at night which made it great for stargazing when we had beautiful clear skies. Bedrooms a good size. We used 4 x €2 coins for electricity during our 6 night stay in mid-March when it was very cold. Oil worked out at €27 for the same period. The area is very beautiful. No big touristy highlights but lovely quiet boreens. Great beaches for walking. On a nice day would recommend the two lakes, Easkey and Talt, up in the mountains. We had the former to ourselves!! Margaret was very attentive and baked us a lovely homemade bread which was the best. She left us to do our own thing but we knew she was around if we needed her (which we didn't) Home well-stocked.

Milk Harbour Holidays Boathouse Apartment

Geraldine and Steve’s place really has it all. The incredibly beautiful setting right on the Atlantic shore and the stunning apartment designed to bring it all in. Large windows fill the space with light and watching the changing skies, the birdlife and basking seals kept us entertained. Geraldine and Steve are a warm friendly and informative couple and we appreciated the kind touch of the treats they left for us. We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs in Ireland and several other countries and for us this is our favourite - hope to return soon.

Great house and host. Everything you would need. We enjoyed staying here and is is close to Adara. Just do know you will need 2euros to feed the box for electricity. Loved the view and having the cows as our neighbors. Will gladly stay here again.
