Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Tubac

This large, eclectic house was a fun place to hang out and relax. There isn’t much to do around there (which we knew) and that was perfect for us. We hung out and played pool and polar plunged in the pool and played games and listened to the birds and relaxed. The caretaker was helpful and available. The outdoor hot tub was turned on at our request but it did not get hot at all. It was kind of warm. It was also a surprise to be told we should not flush any toilet paper. Both toilets have bidets but that water is cold! These were fairly minor issues for us, though, and we enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay here! House was spacious and comfortable. Beautiful back yard. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day. Great neighborhood and a perfect location for us as we did day trips in all directions to Madera Canyon, Chiricauas, Patagonia hummingbird center, Sonora Desert Museum. Great communication with our host! Highly recommend.

We’ve stayed at many Airbnbs, and Gerald’s place tops our list. Not only is his home welcoming, spacious, quiet and well-equipped, it’s located in a community that caters to enjoying nature. It also provides an excellent view of the night sky. Gerald is an awesome host. He responds quickly to questions and is helpful and kind. He provided some useful suggestions that allowed our senior dog to maximize the enjoyment of his yard. We loved our stay and give Gerald’s place our highest recommendation.

We were very happy with our stay. We had an issue with blowing a fuse, but we called the property manager and he responded immediately. He also was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The home is very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with needed dishes, cooking utensils, pans, etc. The grill came in very handy also. We enjoyed the hot tub and watched the sunrise several mornings, drinking our coffee just as Tammy had suggested! Great way to start the day! We enjoyed spending part of our day out on the back terrace area. While the pool wasn't heated so we couldn't enjoy that aspect, I did finally venture in the end of our stay. It still made the outside very peaceful and relaxing. A bonus was picking fresh oranges off the tree in the terrace for our morning breakfasts. They were so juicy! Lots of good shopping, places to eat, and golf courses nearby. Also easy access to main highways and roads so easy to get around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This was perfect for 2 couples ! The house was roomy and had plenty of extra room to spread out. The kitchen was perfect with so many supplies. It was one of the best equipped places we have stayed. You can tell it is the owner’s personal space, as opposed to a bunch of goodwill and thrift store junk. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Located between downtown Tubac and the Tubac golf resort, the home is easy walking distance to either. Fenced yard is both private and dog secure. Home is not cluttered with things as some rentals are. Clean linen, panty had many spices and cooking oils, dressings, etc. We did not use the bikes provided, but they were in good order. Community pool is warm, not very busy considering it was over Christmas and Hannukah. Easy to check in and out. No issues during our holiday stay. We would rent again if it is available!

From booking to checkout Dan was responsive and insured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The house was as advertised and located in a peaceful walkable neighborhood. Comfortable furnishings and it had everything necessary for a stress free stay. We even had access to multiple recreation centers throughout the community.
