Truckee River vacation rentals

Kathy’s place was a wonderful home base for our Tahoe weekend. Being able to walk out to the edge of the lake, and out onto a beautiful pier in the peaceful water, just a minute away from the unit, was magical. It was very close to Tahoe City shops and restaurants- you could easily walk or bike over. The location was ideal. The complex was very quiet while we were there (Spring), really so peaceful, and just enough away from the bustle of the main road. Kathy was a very helpful and communicative host. Everything was comfortable and clean, and we had any amenity we could think of at the ready. All around, a lovely stay in a beautiful place, thanks Kathy!

Really nice cabin, very clean, fun outdoor space. Exactly as advertised. Randy was very responsive when I thought I was having a problem with the availability of hot water. Turned out to be no problem. Beds were comfortable and we appreciated the bathroom and laundry amenities. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the fire pit, and look forward to future visits!

This place is an absolute gem. The decor is stunning—thoughtfully curated with impeccable taste and attention to detail. Everything inside feels high-end, from the furniture to the finishes, making it not just a place to stay but a space to enjoy. The location is perfect, tucked away in a peaceful area yet still close to everything you’d want to explore. But the real showstopper? The backyard. It’s unreal. Our kid had the best time running around and playing freely, and the creek out back is serene and beautiful—a perfect spot to unwind with a morning coffee or evening drink. You can tell the host put real care into every corner of the home. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and stylish getaway

This was a quant place, tucked away in a neighborhood but walking distance to the lake that was perfect as a launching point for our weekend. It had way more in the kitchen than I anticipated and there was a cooling fan that made the stay/sleeping environment more manageable.

Cindy place was amazing! It’s located right next to the Hyatt which we did not take advance of (but wish we did)! It was very easy to get to Mt. Rose to ski every day. The place was very clean, and it had cable tv. We totally want to come back here next year for New Years and hope they will host us again!

I stayed at this lovely home when I was in Truckee for a wedding and it was perfect for my stay. The home was clean and cozy with clear instructions for everything. It is well stocked with plenty of kitchenware, towels, extra blankets, and more. The layout and location were ideal and in a nice quiet neighborhood. There is a big driveway and a garage you can park in. Sean was easy to communicate with and responsive. I didn't need to reach out to him, but it was nice to know he would be available. I would easily stay here again the next time I am up in the Truckee area.

Mark and Jacqueline have a beautiful home and property. It was spacious for our 3 families with small children. There were plenty of supplies to make our stay comfortable. The best part was being able to drive down to the river for a swim. We are already planning to book again. Thank you Mark and Jacqueline for the hospitality.

Love Neals place, so serene, literally! The three bed was great for our family. The kitchen was very well stocked and the road the home is on is so sweet. In the winter, be prepared for snow for the ski bunnies! Soda springs is at the highest elevation… We came looking for snow and found it. I bet the lake in the summer is gorgeous too. We spent four nights here as part of our honeymoon and absolutely loved every moment. The home was beautifully decorated, cozy, and so welcoming—it truly felt like a peaceful retreat in the woods. Nestled near the lake and surrounded by stunning trees, the setting was nothing short of magical. Everything was exactly as pictured, and the attention to detail in the decor and comfort really made it feel special. The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. One especially thoughtful touch was the homemade cookie dough waiting for us when we arrived—such a sweet and delicious way to kick off our stay! We’re so grateful we found this place. It was the perfect combination of comfort, beauty, and warmth. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene and charming escape!

I would definitely stay here again. It was quite comfortable and I felt right at home. It is well decorated and included thoughtful details that many would appreciate. Eileen was always responsive to my messages. I didn't have any trouble with finding the place, but it is important to follow the directions provided by the host.

loved everything about this place!

What a wonderful place to get together with friends and family. The house is spacious and has many toys and board games. We went during the tail end of winter, as described, there was a slope in the backyard where we were able to sled from it! Hopefully we can go back to it again next winter!

Very comfy and cozy guest house! Peaceful neighborhood. Full of amenities and activities. Walkable distance to kings beach. Recommend visiting this place for a vacation!

Beautiful cabin in the woods with comfortable beds and relaxing hot tub. Hot tub was already warm when we arrived and no extra charge to use the hot tub. Wonderful kitchen where we made breakfast and we went out to dinner at local restaurants. About 10 mins away from Boreal and Donner Ski Ranch and close to several other Tahoe Ski resorts. We woke up to several cute chipmunks running in the snow right outside the sliding door. Would go back.

10 out of 10!! This A-frame cabin is gorgeous, with an incredible amount of natural light, a host of enviable architectural details and two gas fireplaces!! The cabin was also squeaky clean, had generously well-equipped bathrooms and kitchen, and was close to everything downtown Kings Beach. Lynn was a spectacular host, reaching out to make sure that my stay was comfortable, offering her assistance with any questions and/or suggestions for places to see, as well as being incredibly quick to respond. I felt well taken care of and right at home, already looking forward to my next stay.

This air bnb was all good! Just a quick stop over for us on the way to Tahoe. Sibin was a great host. The place is pretty basic but had everything we needed

This home is perfection. Super clean, lots of natural light, nice Kitchen to prepare meals, and no fuss check-in/out. A colleague and I stayed here for work and it the bedrooms/baths were nicely divided between the floors allowing privacy for both of us. We will definitely stay here again on future trips.

Samia was an amazing host! We appreciated the wine bottle she left us. I had messaged her a few times during our stay to ask a couple of questions and she replied really fast. Would definitely stay here again!

Melissa’s place is beautiful and clean. Definitely looks like a dream cabin, that was thoughtfully & beautifully designed. The deck surrounded by trees was nice & so peaceful. The kids loved the kids area upstairs. Overall, my family enjoyed our stay. Melissa was also very responsive and so friendly & positive! Thank you Melissa!
