We loved the cottage! It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Kathy went out of her way to make us feel at home, including fresh flowers and treats! We will definitely return.

This spot is lovely! The apartment above the detached garage is beautifully and comfortably furnished and decorated. There are thoughtful and creative additions that make it just delightful! Everything we needed was there for us. We also enjoyed the deck and sitting outside there in the sun. It was a very private and quiet setting and the yard is full of charm and lovely plants! We loved it! Thank you so much for creating such a perfect getaway space!

This beautiful cottage was well thought out. Decorated, fully equipped and peaceful. We were in town to do a bit of sking and this cottage was reasonably close to Sierra. It was perfect. Hot water ran out quick, but besides that, it was a charm.

Phoebe and TK’s place was truly a peaceful sanctuary. The robes, coffee, bottle of wine and wonderful bathroom amentites made it feel like a weekend of luxury. They truly thought of everything. The kitchen was fully stocked with all you might need to make full meals, which we did. And they even had an assortment of spices to choose from. The bed was extremely comfortable and the views were stunning. We saw deer and quail each day. Such a lovely getaway for my birthday with my friend. We felt pampered by the thoughtful touches and intentional care put into this space. 100% recommend.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely surrounding. Suzanne is an amazing host. She is very responsive and helping. House is beautifully decorated, so is the surrounding. Kitchen is nicely stocked. She offered to lend her saucers and sleds which the kids enjoyed a lot on the Tahoe snow! We missed the puzzle factory tour but the kids would love to visit it next time. All in all a beautiful stay and we would love to be back.

My wife and I had a gat stay. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked as well as bathroom supplies. I would.definitely stay there again.

Our stay at Brooke and Jake's magical farmhouse cottage was nothing short of total perfection. First, the setting is absolutely stunning. We visited for 5 days over Spring Break and could not have asked for a better experience. The farmhouse cottage sits on about 10 acres and they are so gracious with allowing guests to roam and explore which was so much fun for us - especially my 11 and 8 year old nieces! They have a cow, a donkey, chickens, horses and goats. They had welcomed a new baby goat about a week before we arrived and we got to feed the goat which was so fun too. Second, the cottage itself is beyond charming. Decorated perfectly and I so appreciated the attention to detail - gorgeous and comfortable bedding, beautiful, farmhouse appropriate art, all the amenities you'd need. Finally, Brooke and Jake and their family are wonderful. Living their best lives on this slice of heaven and happy to share it with you. We have already booked another trip to come back in the fall!

The Tahoe Room was perfectly appointed and beautifully decorated, with a bed that made you feel like you were sleeping on a cloud. The hot tub and sauna are in a lovely quiet courtyard space, and although I had neighbors in the Reno Room the entire stay, I never heard them at all. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe, and the home is situated next door to an elementary school, which provided for very quiet evenings. I’ll definitely look to stay here again the next time I’m in town!

Beautiful, yet very affordable, mountain retreat. Amazing large area for our pupper to run around and explore in. Hot tub was amazing. Definitely a steal for the price!

What a dreamy spot! We had an absolutely amazing stay and enjoyed every aspect of this Airbnb! Everything was exactly as described and had everything we needed. Perfect for 2 people. We especially loved the friendly cows on sight and really enjoyed the wrap around porch for relaxing. Location is amazing and close to town via a short drive. Friendly and hospitable hosts! Would definitely recommend and would love to return in the future.

I've stayed at several Airbnb's in the Placerville area and Susan's was one of the best. Cute, cozy apartment that was in an excellent location; easy walk to Main Street. Unfortunately, we didn't actually meet Susan until just before we left but, she was super sweet and friendly. Would love to come back.

Gary was nice and friendly! My husband and I honestly felt right at home. Gary’s guesthouse was so clean and comfortable, it had lots of space and it had all the amenities we needed. We had lots of privacy and felt so comfortable; it was like a home away from home. Gary gave us some great recommendations for spots in Gardnerville that were perfect for our family. We look forward to coming back to stay when we visit our family again in the near future.

We loved our stay at the Tuxon house. The house was cozy, rustic, and neat, and the surrounding property was also nice (we especially loved the animals). The hosts were very kind and gave us a tour of the property, introducing us to the two emus. We also loved getting to know the horses, and especially the pony. The location is also extremely convenient - perfect if you plan to ski/snowboard at Mt. Rose or explore Reno. Thank you for the great weekend!

Errol’s place is surrounded by beautiful woods and is nice and quiet. We enjoyed being able to have a peaceful place to come back to after a long day on the mountain.

We decided to escape the chaos of Sacramento during NYE, as the fireworks by the river have gotten out of hand. Chris' place was the perfect peaceful retreat. Upon arrival, Chris greeted us, gave us a tour, and mentioned he was available if we had any questions or needed anything. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy from our brief interaction. The guesthouse was spacious and just right for both us and our dog. The property itself was beautiful, with plenty of room for our dog to run and explore. Overall, it was a fantastic experience—peaceful surroundings, great hosts, and the ideal spot to unwind. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

I loved my stay here and Greg was always such a responsive host. It’s close to a path with wonderful views, close to stores, and very peaceful surroundings. I will definitely return!

We were looking for a peaceful dog-friendly stay for our trip out to Amador wine country and Michael & Clint's property delivered! The shipping container concept was brilliant and we looked forward to spending time on the deck. We were thrilled when we got there to find that the deck was fully enclosed which allowed us to take the leashes off! We had a great evening eating outside under the lights then turning everything off and enjoying the night sky. We will definitely return with our dogs on our next trip! As a side note we have previously stayed in Plymouth, Jackson and Mokelumne Hill where there is a dearth of electric car chargers. This location was ideal for running up to Placerville, charging our car while enjoying espresso drinks at Pachamama Coffee.

Richard and Julie's place was perfect for our 3 person family (myself, my partner and our 14 year old). The living room gets such lovely light. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was easy to figure out where to find things and how to use all the appliances. It's a convenient location for getting to Nevada City and Grass Valley, and in a lovely spot. What really stood out was the attention to details (curated records, La Croix in the fridge, etc.) and generous checkout time (3:00!) which unfortunately we were not able to take advantage of, but we still appreciated. Most places make you do a lot more cleaning (despite paying a cleaning fee) but Richard and Julie only expect the basics. Having to do a lot of cleaning and get out of a place by 11:00 a.m. always kills my vacation vibe! Finally, I wasn't sure how we'd feel about being on the owners' property, but they were a perfect combination of being available and approachable, while also giving us our privacy. Thanks R & J!

We had a great and memorable stay. The place had many amenities that I have t really seen in other Tahoe AirBnBs. We went for a day of snowboarding. And it is super pleasant to come back to a place with heated floors, a sauna, a massage chair, and much more. The massage chair is very underrated as well. The location is about 1/2 a block to Ski Run Blvd. So it is very much walking distance to restaurants. The place was extremely clean as well. Also the selections of furniture and appliances show that the host really cares about the place.
