Large terrace with exit from the living room. Kitchen is richly equipped with dishwasher. The cabin has a year-round road, the road goes all the way to the cabin wall. Parking space for 4 cars. Great view.

Recharge your batteries at this unique and quiet accommodation. Cabin feeling with panoramic views of the valley. Short distance to Trondheim and the Ski World Cup. Buses and trains run from Melhus city center to Trondheim. 25 min trip to the city. When you are not cheering on your ski idol or participating in everything that happens around the World Cup, you can enjoy a quiet time around the campfire or warm your body in the jacuzzi or sauna. Inside the living room there are 2 large living rooms that invite social interaction. Large kitchen that is richly equipped.

The place is also suitable in summer with hiking trails and fishing waters in the immediate vicinity. You also have Selbusjøen with many activities in the immediate vicinity. The cabin has a large living room and kitchen, 3 bedrooms on the main floor, as well as a bedroom on the loft. Delicate bathroom and sauna. Laundry room with its own entrance and large loft where the children can play.

The adventure

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place. The cabin is close to a lake with good swimming possibilities. There is electricity, but gas stove. There is a storage room inside the cabin with a fridge with a small freezer underneath. The cabin has an "outhouse" where there is a sauna, storage room and outdoor toilet. There is no running water and no inhouse. There is a toll road (NOK 100). Road almost all the way in the summer (50 meters to walk from parking). In winter, there are about 1.4 km to ski.

Walking distance to bus, shop, pharmacy, and playgrounds.

Great hiking and swimming opportunities approx. 10 min walk. Short distance to bus, grocery store and shopping center (about 2 min) with bakery, bookstore, pharmacy and liquor store. Bed linens and towels are included. Electric car charger available.

Idyllic place in the forest with sauna!

Here you can really get away from city noise. Ski trails are rigt behind the corner and you can enjoy a hot sauna after a long day outdoor. We live upstairs in the house, but we rent out a simple independent apartment in the groundfloor. In December 2021 we refurbished it with a new bathroom, sauna and kitchenette. Although the house seems remote, it's only a 15/20 minutes walk to the tram that takes you directly to the city center. Let us know if there is anything you'd like to know! :-)
