A really nice and cosy house by the sea, which has a very personal touch as a lot of the interior is still original from the parents of the host. It is therefore "vintage" in the very original way. The hosts live close by and provided a very friendly introduction. House and sea are separated by a road, but with very little traffic.

Our stay at this beautiful home was absolutely unforgettable. We spent three nights here and were thrilled to witness the mesmerizing Northern Lights during our visit. The house has breathtaking views and a stunning, thoughtfully designed interior that made every moment feel special. Hanne went above and beyond by providing incredibly helpful information on everything—from the local weather updates to fantastic recommendations for nearby attractions and dining spots. Their support truly enhanced our overall experience. We highly recommend this charming place to anyone looking to explore the beauty of the region while enjoying a comfortable and memorable stay.

We stayed at Tuula’s place for 4 days and we had such a great time. I’d recommend this place for the following reasons 1) Tuula was always available to provide advise as a local and help us with some insights on the places we had in our itinerary 2) Her place is perfect to pet reindeers. One can definitely save some bucks in booking expensive reindeer tours 3) We saw spectacular auroras from the lake right in front of the house. Since the place is towards the outskirts, it is not impacted by city lights and is perfect for aurora spotting 4) She also does tours on Sami culture, so I would definitely recommend this over any museums or exhibitions to get a local feeling of the Sami culture Cherry on the top, she was kind to bake some fresh breads and share it with us. Overall, we liked our stay her and would recommend Tuula’s place.

we had a lovely stay. There would also have been a sauna in the wooden barrel (but unfortunately had too little time for this). Very good value for money. Marianne was very kind and very supportive.

We had a great stay here. Although we visited towards the end of winter, this would be a great place to stay for hiking too

Ann-Christine and her husband were very welcoming. The cabin, warm, is located in a place of great peace. Difficult to describe the beauty of the surrounding landscapes. Magical moment!

Ase was a fantastic host! The accommodation was spacious, very well appointed, had everything you could need. We loved that it was in the countryside, yet close to the town. We would recommend staying here.

2 bedrooms with sea view. Good bedding. Living room with sea view and fireplace (wood provided): perfect. Well-equipped kitchen. With welcome gift and food to start. Very nice contact with Line. Great location for the Aurora. With a small jetty on the fjord to get away from the lights. Reindeer herd on the road on arrival (free-range!). Departure for walks with easy parking. Very quiet. We would highly recommend.

It was the second time we went to Carina's house, and it was another great stay ! The weather was very changing and when it became bad, the house was very comfortable to stay and relax during the snow showers. Carina is a great host, and when we lacked warming in the bathroom, she immediately found out a solution. So thank you again to her, she made our stay perfect !

Lian Gard is beautiful, idyllic and quiet location. We enjoyed the quiet very much! We enjoyed the young goats and the cat very much! Marianne was very hospitable and lovely! The heartbeat of the farm! The whirlpool, which she shoveled for us, was a highlight. Perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. Thanks! We will be happy to come back! :)

Kaisa-house had the most amazing views. The house was tidy and sauna was nice. Well worth of money.

Brilliant view and and loved the house

We were three families and spent a wonderful New Year's week in the house. The year couldn't have started better. When we arrived, the house was warm, cozy and decorated for Christmas. We immediately felt comfortable. The one bedroom and sauna were smaller than expected but ultimately completely adequate. The kitchen is very well equipped and we cooked wonderfully and fit 12 people (just about) at the big table. A highlight was the Yakuzi in the upper bathroom - after walks at -20 degrees we were warmed up again. The view over the fjord and the huge jetty were wonderful. Since the houses next door were not visited, it was also very quiet. One evening, a very nice neighbor let us know that the Northern Lights were there. Indescribably beautiful! Nearby (25 min) is a great polar bear park. The ski slope in Narvik (60 min) is also great! Communication with Torkjell was very nice and helpful at all times. Thank you!

We use Airbnb a lot, but this has to be one of our favorite stays ever! The house was so cozy and Kristin was a great host. The view is probably the best on the island. The Northern Lights danced beautifully for us one night and we could even see them from the living room. Our kids enjoyed making snow forts and sledding down the hill. We loved having lunch in Sommarøy each day and seeing the reindeer on our way. We'd love to come back. I bet it's just as magical in the summer!

We wanted somewhere comfortable, warm with amazing views across a fjord. This house was perfect. We enjoyed watching the landscape change with the weather. We saw fantastic Northern Lights on the two clear nights from inside the house, but had to go outside as they were all over the sky. A good place for photography. The house is extremely well equipped and has everything you need, including snow shoes which enabled us to go on two walks in the deep snow. The log burner was fantastic with plenty of logs and the WiFi was great. Anne was an amazing host keeping in touch and updating us on a road closure due to an avalanche risk. We would definitely stay here again.

Katrina offers 1) good hosting, in 2) a cozy house in 3) amazing surroundings! Great mountains, sea, reindeer, moose, eagles and other bird life were included in our stay with Katrina:)

Very good house with 4 bedrooms and well equiped kitchen

Anne’s place is the dream Airbnb everyone would like to stay at. Truly, if you are coming to the Tromso region and are comfortable with driving a car in snowy/a bit icy conditions, CHOOSE HERE. Anne and Steinar are so kind and accommodating. The Airbnb looks 1000% better than the beauty already shown on the listing - I simply was not expecting how spacious it is and how breathtaking the views from the balcony is. We were 4 people and the 3 bedrooms were perfect for us. The kitchen and utensils cabine has everything you need - we didn’t eat out at all during our one week stay here. The best part? INCREDIBLE northern lights show at your own balcony. We were lucky enough to catch it twice during six days, and it was so comfortable just being on the balcony and seeing the lights dance. If you want and have non slippery shoes, you can also just go to the front and side of the house to watch the magic unfold. It really is breathtaking. Thanks Anne, we will come back :)

It was amazing experience. We could see aurora lights in the evening and so much enjoyed the dog sledding ride. Cant wait to come back.
