My place has a great view over the city in a quite and safe neighbourhood. It is close to the cataract gorge which is great for walks, coffee, restaurant, dinning, swimming and childrens play ground. It It is approximately 20 mins car drive from Launceston airport and 5 minutes into the centre of town. West Launceston is hilly so a car is recommended. The apartment, which is located under my private residents, provides a comfortable space with all home comforts peace, quite and privacy.

Built in 1875 this cottage has several internal steps which may not be suitable for everyone. Charmaine’s hosting abilities are outstanding. We loved the beautiful local milk, bread and butter left for us, as well as breakfast options and lots of pantry staples. She preassembled the portacot for us which was a godsend after a long day of travel with a toddler. Charmaine also provided toys, books and a high chair for our bub. The linen and furnishing were super cosy and high quality. The only thing I would forewarn future guests of is that there are high windows that cannot be blocked of sunlight which is tricky if you have a baby that naps during the day. We struggled to get our baby to have his naps. It’s also a very hilly area so if that’s a problem for people, beware! Of course, that’s not Charmaine’s fault!

We had a wonderful stay - a lovely homely house to stay in for the weekend. A great location, all the necessary amenities, lots of space, a lovely outlook with great living spaces, outside areas and well sized bedrooms - we loved our stay and highly recommend this place. Also the hosts were so great - very speedy responses to anything we asked.

We absolutely loved Jo’s place for our stay in Launceston. It’s a beautiful home with a gorgeous view out over the river. The home is clean and well equipped. And the chickens and bunnies in the backyard were lovely! And our toddler loved all of the toys. Would definitely recommend this place for families!

The house is beautiful and comfortable for two small families. A prefect location and view, being close to Exeter for all your extra needs. The pool looked inviting but unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side to enjoy it. We appreciated the ample amount of coffee pods being provided and the wine bar which we didn’t require but a great idea.
