"Traditional Cornish Cottage, Cosy and Homely"

ElizabethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A lovely cornish cottage with great garden for our dog & very convenient parking right outside thd front door which is good for the price. A good & handy welcome guide. We walked to Charlestown which only takes 15 minutes & is beautiful, had a coffee & really nice stroll, beach & harbor walk. We drove to Mevagissey which only takes 20 minutes, enjoyed the atmosphere, shops & a pasty here. The only downside was couldn't find anywhere nice right where we were like a cafe. Busy traffic but quieter at night. Only tip for cottage would be curtains for room our daughter stayed in for coziness & block light out more & a curtain to go accross front door for the same reasons. Other than that its a spacious, pretty & clean cottage, checking in and out was simple. Thank you.

Bojea Mill

What a wonderful warm homely house. The views and grounds are spectacular along with resident peacock! The house has lots of space but doesn’t lose that cosy feel. John and Sarah were very welcoming and attentive. We took 4 children and they had plenty to do in the house especially the table tennis and football goals outside and our small dog enjoyed the grounds. The house is well equipped with good quality utensils. The beds were comfy so you wake up refreshed, it is also a very peaceful house even with 4 children including sassy teens as there is so much space that you can relax as they can keep themselves entertained. There are many close beaches and pubs/restaurants for food and it is an easy commute to towns along the south/north Cornwall coast. We would love to come back to this house as we have found it the best home we have stayed in so far. We think John and Sarah must be mad for moving out of this perfect place. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Cherry Tree Cabin

AndreaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at this adorable little cabin! It may seem small but it is very well done with lots of places to store luggage and put your things. We really appreciated the little touches, it had a kitsch eclectic vibe with the furniture and decor, very cosy and quaint. The hidden mini fridge was useful, and we had all we needed to do breakfast and prep lunches to take out with us. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly, including their beautiful dog, and we felt comfortable that we had our privacy but also nice interactions in passing or if we needed anything. Would absolutely recommend!

Trethowels Grey Hidden hut

This is a wonderful hideaway near St Austell and we will definitely be returning. Julian was fantastic - he was there when we arrived and showed us around. It is a steep, bumpy, sandy track to get up to the huts but 100% worth it when you arrive. We stayed here with our 2 dogs and 6 month old baby and it was perfect. The huts are modern, very clean and have everything you need in them. The communal loos and shower were also really clean with nice extra touches. Overall, really well thought out and welcoming. Each hut is private and they are in a beautiful location in the woods. Very special place. Can't wait to return!

Cottage near beaches and Eden project

LauraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Very peaceful place, in an amazing countryside setting, quite a hike to town but it’s worth it. Everything was clean and cosy, the flat was very tastefully furnished, well equipped and warm. The hosts were lovely and friendly. It was nice to spend some time with the goats and the donkeys.

Very helpful host thank you Heather and Andy for making us feel most welcome, lovely views and areas to walk around the property. Very central to lots of Cornwall’s attractions including beach areas and coastal pathways to explore. Property very comfortable and extremely clean and tidy in a lovely rural location would recommend and will be looking to stay again in the future.
