home from home the beds were so comfy and smelt of fresh linen under floor heating was a bonus in cold december very homely and loved staying in. little village next door friendly and little post office had any little bits you may forget was very useful we did explore and go to different areas so if don’t mind driving and the roads down to porthallow are small however if our big 4x4 made it you can’t go wrong. the neighbour next door was so friendly. and the views are stunning even in the winter. i would defo come back without the kids for a full on relax away from the city and hustle and bustle thank you louse from us and the dogs x

The property is a desirable place to stay, in such a stunning area. I was aware that the host was available if we needed her, but she respected our privacy. Great location to stay in if you want to explore this area.. Excellent pubs just a 5 min walk away and friendly and welcoming locals. This place is slap bang in the middle of some great walks. Excellent stay , will come back.

Richard was a very responsive and helpful host, with a lovely place close to plenty of brilliant sites around the area. A good kitchen and a very comfy bed as well. Would stay again.

This was our second year at Retreat in Coverack and we’d certainly come back again. Kay and Terry are awesome hosts and they have Retreat setup really well, thinking of all the small details you might need to make your stay the most comfy. Thanks again, we had such a wonderful stay! 😊
