Beudy'r Esgob

‘Beudy’r Esgob’ translates as ‘Bishop’s Barn’ and it used to be a hay barn and cow shed. It adjoins our 14th century farmhouse and lies in the village of Gwalchmai, Anglesey. We are within walking distance to Anglesey Show ground & air strip and 10 minutes drive from Rhosneigr and its beaches. We would be a super base for those visiting Anglesey Circuit at Tŷ Croes as we have plenty of parking space for car trailers. Cosy, restored self-catering barn with a log burner. The barn is Grade 2 listed and retains the original 17th century wooden beams. Situated only 7 minute drive from the Rhyd Ddu Snowdon path. Located on a secluded working mountain farm, overlooking the famous village of Beddgelert, just a 10 minute walk down through the fields and ancient oak woodland. From the patio enjoy the magnificent views of the Eryri mountains. The perfect location for hikers with walks from the doorstep.

This turf covered cabin is a blend of Viking longhouse and underground hobbit hideaway. It's in a beautiful spot in our orchard between the mountains and the sea on our small permaculture farm. Experience camping fire cooking, and clear starlit skies, whilst having a comfy bed, a kitchen, hot water, shower compost toilet and a wood burning stove to cosy round if it gets cold. All on our sustainable ecological farm which has lakes, woodlands and animals to find and explore.

We have fantastic Wi-Fi with a smart TV, a cosy log burner and full central heating, making the cottage ideal also during the cold months. A full bathroom with a bath and over head shower, large TV in the bedroom and an enclosed private area behind the cottage to sit and enjoy but also safe if you want to bring your four legged friend with you.
