Vacation rentals in Trboje

We had a pleasant stay at Sonja's house. The location is great to explore the area and it was great to come back "home" after a day out to enjoy the comfort of home. We have been traveling with a toddler and it was a great place for home to run around.

We had 2 families (4 adults and 5 children) on the floor 6 days. It was an ideal base camp to go to visit Bled, walk through Triglav park or through Jezersco (less touristy but equally beautiful). As all the comments warn you have to get used to the ringing of the bells and the absence of blinds in the rooms but the beds are very comfortable, the apartment is very clean and well equipped and the hosts are friendly. We recommend it!

This is an amazing apartment- very spacious, and nicely decorated with hand painted artwork thruout . Everything was provided- an amazingly complete kitchen with the best coffee maker ever. The bathroom had a great shower and lots of fluffy towels. The views from the apartment are spectacular. Looking down on the turquoise water of the Soce river to the high mountains in the background, the area is a feast for the eyes. There are plenty of walks directly from the apartment from easy strolls around the local lake, to a pretty challenging hike to the Siroco overlook behind the house. Fresh eggs from the hosts chickens and daily visits from Pipa the pig just added to the experience. Everyone we ran into spoke english which makes traveling so much easier. We look forward to coming back!

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

If you're looking to isolate yourself a few days from the top of a small peaceful village bordered by mountains and vineyards, Villa irena is for you! Satisfaction and rest guaranteed!

We loved the place! The terrace is stunning with such an amazing view and diverse sitting possibilities, outdoor kitchen etc and the apartment very cozy. It’s well equipped and Luisa is friendly, flexible and easy going. Parking safely in a garage.

We had a very pleasant stay, starting with the warmest welcome I ever experienced with an Airbnb. We had enough privacy during our stay and enjoyed the beautiful outdoors with a river swimming spot just across the road. The immediate vicinity of the train wasn’t a problem. We would definitely come back!

Our time at Ana's was great! The house is in a fantastic location in the Slovenian vineyards. The accommodation was very clean and perfectly equipped. Ana is an incredibly nice hostess and looked after us warmly. The location of the house is ideal for day trips to Trieste, Ljubljana and Venice. Huge recommendation for families or small groups! Beautiful house in an incredible location. So easy to explore the Soca valley from here! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped. Oton was very helpful. Definitely recommend staying here if you want a peaceful, beautiful spot to explore the area from.
