Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Trapper Creek

Amazing wood beams all around. Comfortable beds and nice shower, what more you need? The furniture and floor may remind some of a guys’ hunting cabin but it didn’t phase us.

This home is beautiful and placed in a fantastic setting. Everything was spotless and there was a fire ready for us when we arrived. Instructions were clear and check-in/check-out was very easy. Our dogs even got to join the neighborhood dog club for a day! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Talkeetna.

Gorgeous location and a beautifully appointed lodge. Six of us stayed and were very comfortable.

Fantastic view of the frozen lake from the deck! We thought winter there would be boring and covered with white snow, but we were wrong. The iced lake reflected beautiful blue shade when sunrise and sunset. It is Amazing! We enjoyed our entire time staying at the property. From the windows of open spaces living room and dining room and from the deck, we can see open beautiful lake view. The house is big, beautiful, open spaces and by the beautiful lake. Feeling of welcome when we first stepped in. The house is very clean. We had everything that we needed there. Owner provided quality materials to use. Host Rebekah is very nice. She responded to our questions within a short period of time. A plus that I would giving for this house is the water came from the refrigerator tasted better than most other the water bottled. We appreciated water source in AK vs. CA I wish I could stay there longer. Definitely will come back.

We loved this cottage. It was cozy and comfortable. The host was super about communication. It was well Set up with coffee and little niceties. I will definitely reserve it again!

BOOK THIS AIRBNB!! Seriously, this place was amazing - the views of Denali from the house made this worthwhile by itself. Our kids opened the front door and said “whoa” and put down their devices. The airbnb has everything you need and more - from bug spray, to board games, to the views, to the telescope, I could go on forever. Heidi even ensured there were rubber boots for you to walk around. Heidi was also a gracious airbnb host, providing numerous recommendations for restaurants, rainy day activities, and reached out to ensure everything was to our expectations. Our family was genuinely sad to leave this airbnb but hope we’ll be back soon.

Had a great stay at Arlene’s place. She communicated quickly and even turned on the front light porch for us since we were arriving at night time. Highly recommend if you want some peace and quiet in the countryside.

Most expensive but biggest and nicest Airbnb around. This is our second time here because we liked it so much. No snow in March this year but we ice skated and biked.
