The accommodation was very comfortable. However, I chose not to use the pool because the apartments overlook it, which made me feel a bit self-conscious, and the water was also quite cold. Additionally, along the Strand, the noise from vehicles with loud engines and occasional yelling and screaming from the park nearby made me feel uneasy. I understand these issues are beyond the host’s control.

We had a lovely short stay at the Island Cottages. It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Simple, clean and well positioned. The air-conditioning was up to the task of dealing with the extreme humidity too! The space was roomy, clean and welcoming. Our hosts were thoughtful and genuinely considerate of our needs. A perfect stay for a simple beach holiday.

Lovely inviting home with plenty of space and all the amenities you need - perfect for us and great to have a pool which was particularly appreciated by our son 😊 Fab location - we enjoyed being able to walk along the beach to the local tavern and watch the stunning sunsets. I had a pleasant stay at Dan and Lisa's place. Dan was friendly and responsive, maintaining good communication throughout my stay. The home was clean and nicely decorated, and they were friendly hosts. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby shops. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

My husband & I have stayed on Magnetic Island many times & always love it -Eleanor’s beautiful home was new to us. So peaceful sitting on one of several balconies watching/listening to teeming wildlife in the surrounding National Park. The house itself is fabulous with a lovely ambience. Having had a minor accident (not in the house!) I needed to rest an ankle for a couple of days - being in such a lovely situation holiday was not spoiled as it was a pleasure to just chill out in the house. Eleanor was a perfect host and I wish to thank her for letting us stay at Samsara.

This house is absolutely gorgeous! Melissa was so fantastic to communicate with, and left a beautiful welcome pack, with some delicious goodies. On arrival the house had a beautiful smell and had an instant calming feel. Everything about the home was amazing, especially the bath tub. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Townsville.

A great location for exploring Picnic Bay and the rest of the island! Thank you for allowing our pet to join us for a long weekend. It’s hard to find a spot on the island that will accept pets but is also conveniently located close to beaches and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!
