Monthly Rentals in Touws River

We had an AMAZING stay despite it raining the whole time (great for them though). Windmill Cottage is an absolute gem and have everything and more you might need for a city breakaway and some peace and quite. Wonderful pool and hot pool, outside shower and bath, porch and rooms with amazing views!! You feel at one with nature! James was the best host ever!!! Except for the wonderful sourdough bread and organic tomatoes he also went the extra mile in escorting us all the way back to the tar road (20+km's) because of all the rain and mud so that he could assist us should we get stuck! He really kept us informed the whole time about the river levels etc and thus made our stress levels a lot lower. The beauty you see on the photos is not even near as awesome as the cottage really are... you have to go and experience it! Wish we could have spent a week there! Thanks James and Amy for sharing this special place!!!

Such a magical place! Peaceful, secluded, and truly unforgettable. We stayed for four nights as part of our honeymoon, and it felt like we’d stepped onto another planet. The days were filled with the distant sounds of farm animals and the soothing rustle of the surrounding forest. The cabin itself has a quiet charm that draws you in and makes it hard to leave. An incredibly special experience.

An amazing place to stay, would highly recommend for anyone wanting to escape busy life to reset and soak in nature.
