House vacation rentals in Totnes

Absolutely lovely home , very responsive to messages, had an issue with the electrical gate it’s no one’s fault but they acted and responded so quickly. The only issue I had was with the pool not being open even though it’s listed in the title “ villa with pool “ and I searched air BnB using the great pool section . I was gutted because it did state in the more about section that the pool wasn’t open until may , I trusted that using the search with great pool would be enough but unfortunately It wasn’t, I did feel this was wrong listing a property with a pool and in the title but hiding the fact it wasn’t open in the click more section, this definitely needs changing.

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

Clean, cozy and well equipped (kitchen, etc). Peaceful location and the extra amenities were great! (Swimming pool, etc). We would stay again.

Lovely place and we had a great stay. Only downside was that the pool wasn’t heated, Maria let us know a few days beforehand that there was an issue with the boiler.

Great home with outstanding facilities and location. Pool is a highlight, and hot tub right next to it which is great for when the kids get chilly! Fantastic playroom for them too. Boiling water tap for grown ups teas and coffee with good indoor and outdoor seating areas. Fun for all the family!

Everything about this air bnb is fantastic! We slept with the blinds open every night purely to wake to that view. The interior has been thoughtfully put together and has everything you could possibly need, we had family visit and were able to cook for 4 adults and 3 kids and still had spare crockery and cutlery!!! Our hosts were helpful and absolutely lovely. I wish I could live at Pear Tree!

What a perfect little stay and beautiful accommodation. Perfect location and very close to beach. Central location not too far from anything. Such a lovely family and Evelin and her family made this a fabulous stay. Will 10000000% be making a return. Spotlessly clean and beautiful interior design. Would recommend to all to come and sample this piece of heaven 👍🏼

Just got back from a lovely few days break in this beautiful cottage. James is a very welcoming and friendly host and along with the information book in the cottage we had everything we needed to know. The cottage was just perfect and the outside and surrounding garden is like a scene from a fairytale. If you’re looking for peace and relaxation , then this is definitely the place. Inside the cottage , there are lots of beautiful original features alongside more modern amenities. Everything that you could possibly need to make your stay more comfortable has been carefully thought about by the hosts. It’s in a great location to get to places like Torquay, Dartmouth and Brixham. All in all a fabulous place to stay for some much needed R&R.

The place is even better than the pics. Bed really comfy and the space is fab and really nicely decorated as well. We come to Kingsbridge every year and this is 100% the best place we’ve stayed in. 100% will be back!

We had a lovely stay at Combe Shute Cottage.

A beautifully presented property in a perfect position on the quieter side of the River in Kingswear. Very clean and well equipped with good quality fixtures and fittings and comfortable beds. All rooms are spacious and comfortable and the outside space is beautifully sunny and well appointed. Great communication throughout from Sharon. All in all a cracking holiday let.

This lodge is absolutely perfect. Everything was within 10-40 mins drive that we intended to do during our stay here. The lodge was in great condition on our arrival. Julie and her family were amazing with communication and super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you again Julie.

The most kind and friendly host and the most peaceful and beautiful house. Our family of four stayed for 3 nights and felt right at home. The house is full character, history and was also very clean, warm and cosy. Our gratitude to the host. We would recommend this house to all and would rate it very highly.

We absolutely loved our stay at Boundary cottage! It’s beautifully designed with gorgeous high quality interiors. It was just right for us - two adults and two children. Everything was provided for a child friendly stay (high chair, stair gate, travel cot, kids tableware). The cottage is compact but has made the most of all space for useful storage, it had everything we needed. Highlights for us were the beautiful bed linen, the gorgeous bathroom with uninterrupted views into the fields with the cows and the lovely walk straight out of the front door down the farm track. Our kids adored the cows and the little play area was a welcome occasional distraction!

Help and information are always readily available from Beverley and equally friendly opposite neighbour. Very comfortable and very well equipped dining room and kitchen with easy to use double oven (no microwave and no dishwasher). Fridge shared with owner. Pedestrian lights across main road give easy short walks to Morrisons and to High Street. RingGo app needed for car parks in Totnes. Parking space is OK for small car. If needed use the nearby Pavilion Car Parks: RingGo 3470 (long stay) 3479 (short stay). Totnes has excellent markets Fri and Sat - Fri good for fruit and veg. Farm Shop in High Street is also excellent. Would happily stay here again. Liz & Geoff

My partner and our 2 young daughters had a lovely stay here. It was a good base to explore the local surroundings. There is no parking outside and we had to park over the main road but the host was helpful in giving us this information before hand. The sofa bed was comfy and we had all the amenities we needed

We had a wonderful weekend at Wisteria Cottage. Victoria and Jon were welcoming and helpful and the cottage was comfortable, well designed and peaceful.

We hired Belinda's place for family to stay at whilst I got married in Dartington. It was perfect for our needs. Thank you!

We adored the house and couldn’t have asked for a better place for us a long weekend. The view is incredible and Annie and Josh were very responsive, ensuring we were always comfortable

We had a great time at the cottage, the river and gardens are absolutely beautiful! Denise was a great host full of information about activities, where to eat etc. There is a pub only a few minutes walk away where we had the best steak pie. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and had everything you needed with lots of added quirky and interesting touches. The noise from the road can be intrusive but we accepted it for what it was and enjoyed our stay in the beautiful country side.

We had a fantastic few days. The Loft is a lovely place so quiet and the owners have thought of absolutely everything. It was great for us and our 16 year old who loved having his own space in the games room. I think it’s the best Airbnb we have stayed in.

Great place to stay - everything you could need, well kept and nicely decorated. Friendly communication with the hosts and a lovely welcome hamper on arrival.
