Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Torres Vedras

Great location in Alfama. Between Sta Apolonia train station and Terreiro do Paco metro. Supermarket is a 10 minute walk away. Apartment on the top floor of a typical Alfama building (steep and narrow staircase), in high season it can be hot, you have to sleep with the fans or windows open.

The apartment is located inn a great area - Alfama. The hike to get to the unit was tough especially when I went in the wrong direction from the train station, but Pedro was patiently waiting there for us. After our hike to get there, completing the 68 steps to the unit was a breeze. LOL The view is spectacular and saw cruise ships coming and going every day. The unit was clean, comfortable. I had issues with the TV but did not go to Lisbon to watch TV. I was connected to the Wi-FI but not the internet, which was fine as my phone did the work for me and I was not working online. Ann and Rita Have created a special space and were are grateful for the accommodations. They did a tasteful job with the decor. I would definitely recommend the unit to anyone. Great job. Marie's place is in a fantastic location, close to restaurants and cafes and the beach was no more than two minutes' walk away. Despite this perfect location, the accommodation was incredibly quiet. The accommodation is spacious with loads of storage and an exceptionally well appointed kitchen if one wanted to cook although why would you when there are so many great places to eat close by. If we were in Cascais again, would we stay at Marie's place? The answer is a definite yes.

We've just come back from an amazing few days at Maria's flat which was located centrally. The inside of the flat was decorated beautifully and with the added bonus of the balcony, it meant that we enjoyed coming back to the flat to rest and recharge for a couple of hours in between exploring Lisbon. We went as two couples and there was plenty of space for everyone. Maria was an excellent host and let us leave our luggage on our morning of arrival. We had a couple of minor issues (lift and internet not working) but Maria was on it right away and fixed the issues promptly. We were very sad to leave the flat and would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommended, there were several buses a few minutes away, it had coffee capsules and everything you need for a comfortable and peaceful stay with a spectacular view.

A really nicely done space that was pleasant to stay. Quiet & relaxing. Great host! Even gave us Americans our extra needed coffee 😎. Able to cook there too. Nice small market next door. Several typical restaurants on the same block. Close drive to the beautiful Comporta beach area. At dusk, there are a lot of mosquitoes outside, so bring bug spay.

This is a beautiful and quiet place. The house was spacious and comfortable and I could feel the host's touches everywhere. Above all, during a large power outage, Lydia said that she was worried about our safety and came to us. Even though we couldn't meet because we were out and about, that alone was a great comfort for us who were embarrassed. Thanks to you, I had a good stay.

Wonderful stay at Sofia‘s place. My daughter and I created some wonderful memories. She was really helpful the entire time we were there, especially with my broken adapter and suggestions for what to do with a limited amount of time. Would like to stay here again someday. Sintra is a magical destination. So many people make it a day trip from Lisbon and, in so doing, miss out on the heart of this community. We were thrilled that Hugo and Laura provided this opportunity for us to more fully explore this amazing place. Their Casa das Rosas is exactly as described, very compact and usable. It takes a little getting used to the arrangement of floors with bedroom and shower on the top floor and bathroom and kitchen two floors below, but it works. Laura and Hugo are most gracious hosts and we received very clear instruction regarding parking, entry, use of space and departure. The welcome gifts were much appreciated as well. Great shower! Well equipped kitchen. We would recommend this place to anyone who is OK with climbing stairs.

We had a wonderful time in Vale da Palha! The place was very nicely located – in the middle of the countryside – and there was an incredible amount of space in the garden to relax and linger. An absolute highlight! Our own terrace was in the sun all day, perfect for breakfast, reading or just enjoying the peace. The place was perfectly equipped, we really didn't miss anything – everything we needed was there. The location is quiet and you need a car for the area, but you can also wonderfully spend time in Xander's huge garden. Another highlight was the five chickens that visited us regularly – as well as the friendly cats and dogs on the premises. We like to think back to this beautiful time and highly recommend a stay here! ☀️🐓

Really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect, set at the base of the hill to walk up to Pena Palace or explore the historic district but not smack in the middle of it. Quiet, private and super clean. Loved everything about it and our stay.

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

We spent a week in Daniel's house with 2 families and had a great time. The house and property are not only large, but also already furnished or landscaped. The kitchen is well equipped and with a heated pool, new kicker, yoga mats, the table tennis table and the grill, there is plenty to do even without excursions. But in view of the beautiful, quiet nature (from time to time the dog barking is a bit annoying) in the immediate vicinity and the versatile beaches (in the west with waves, at Sesimbra quiet Caribbean, but cold:-)) it would be a shame to forego excursions. However, you need a rental car and shopping facilities are a little further away (up to the small shop in the village, which offers essentials). We would definitely book the house again.

We had a very nice vacation and stay at the apartment. Ana Paula and Sofia were very nice and helpful. The apartment was even cleaned in between and it was overall one of the best equipped Airbnbs we've ever had. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back! :)

From the moment we arrived, the host's warm welcome set the tone for a delightful stay. The apartment itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, featuring comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with essentials like coffee, tea, and laundry supplies. Public transportation was easily accessible, with metro stops just a short walk away, making it easy to get around. Ana was great and so was her place!

There were four of us for a wedding in Lisbon and we really enjoyed our stay at Isabell's apartment. The two bathrooms and the well-equipped kitchen were especially practical. The iron and ironing board were also super helpful for our outfits. The apartment was clean, the location good and Isabel an extremely loving and helpful hostess with great restaurant tips – she was always available. A small note: The apartment is a bit noisy, but that hardly affected our stay. We would definitely come back and highly recommend the place!

Catherine was a great host, easy to get in contact with and accommodated us very appropriately. Her place was lovely, very clean and very practical. Close to many beautiful attractions in Lisbon and easily accessible as well. I definitely recommend her home and look forward to coming back in the future!

The apartment is lovely, clean, well-equipped, and even more spacious than expected. The location is close to bustling neighborhoods, but the building itself is very peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Very well located, with great amenities and sparkling clean. Building with an elevator, which makes a huge difference in Lisbon where many historical houses are walk-ups. Highly recommended.

The apartment is fantastic, like staying in a piece of history. Wilfried has taken great care with the renovations and has also kitted out the apartment with high quality bedding and toiletries. Kitchen is really well equipped and Wilfried provided a vast array of coffees and teas. The rooms and bathroom layout worked well for us, a family of five with three grown-up sons, so everyone had their own room and slept well. The location is perfect, very central and easy to walk to most attractions or use Uber for going slightly further out. Its in a busy location with a lovely atmosphere. We weren't troubled by any noise - the trams and bars also close relatively early anyway. Wilfried is great and pro-active communicator. Everything was clean and Eugenia was a delight to meet. Thank you, we would love to stay again.
