We only stayed 3 nights, too few to visit many beautiful places. We appreciated the strategic location to move to the places of interest, the internal parking, the practically new and newly furnished accommodation with new furniture, the cleanliness , and the complete equipment of everything. In addition, David and his wife two kind and helpful people positively completed our stay . I recommend the ice cream shop near the house where we had a great ice cream offered the evening before departure from David and his wife. We will still return to Umbria to continue to visit beautiful places and we will definitely return to this facility.

We loved staying at La Fornace! It was such a beautiful and peaceful stay and we felt right at home. Eddie was very welcoming and the property is very close to Assisi and several nice restaurants. We were only here for 3 nights but in the future we would definitely come back for a longer stay. It was very relaxing and we can’t recommend it enough.

This unique apartment, set within a historic castle, offers exceptional space and cleanliness with full furnishings. Our host was attentive and created a welcoming, homey atmosphere. The well-equipped kitchen came stocked with essentials plus thoughtful extras like coffee, tea, biscuits, and snacks. While nearly perfect, a few minor points to note: the bathroom toiletries were somewhat limited (though this isn't required for Airbnb), and there was some morning construction noise (outside the host's control). Despite these small details, this remarkable castle apartment provided an unforgettable stay.
