Central location with Estuary View - Sleeps Seven

JamesRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Lovely apartment, in a perfect location in the heart of Salcombe. Given the weather was pretty terrible, we had a great long weekend in Salcombe - the apartment was both cosy and comfortable, but had plenty of space for us. Great facilities, comfortable beds and sofa, and beautiful views through the buildings across the estuary. Great comms from the hosts - would definitely stay again. Recommend the Winking Prawn for lunch and the Kings Arms for dinner. The Fortesque became our local for beers, decent wine and a pool table.

ShaneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Beautiful place so close to town. It’s on a steep but short hill. Basically in the centre of Dartmouth - co op and m&s food a few minutes walk away + pubs/cafes/restaurants all there. The place was clean, views were beautiful. Without a doubt will be back in the summer. Thank you Helen. Decent size for a family of 4.

MeganRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Lovely short stay with kids. Easy to walk to the beach, shops, soft play, boat trips etc etc. No issues at all, we were able to get on with enjoying the area. The house was very very clean and had everything we needed. Geoff answered a couple of small queries promptly. We would definitely stay again if it was available.
A panoramic view showcases the vibrant Dartmouth Harbour, with boats dotting the turquoise waters. Lush green hills surround the picturesque shoreline, and the scattered architecture of the town reflects its charming character. Fluffy clouds drift across a bright sky, enhancing the coastal scenery.

Last Minute Stunning view Dartmouth River and Sea

JoeRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Astonishingly brilliant location overlooking Dartmouth and Kingswear. Shops, pubs and restaurants only a few minutes away, yet peaceful location with views both of the sea and up the estuary. Ideal for the walker, with the South West Coast Path running outside the front door towards Blackpool Sands, Torcross and (via the lower ferry) Brixham. Easy access to ferries, buses and (steam) trains for those travelling without a car. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Pitchford House, Salcombe (5 Bed)

SeanRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We loved the house! The location was excellent being half way up the high street with a clear view of the sea and the secret stairway out the back of the kitchen up to the roof garden and fire pit was a real treat. The living room fire place was a delight and the wood fuel was very well stocked. The kitchen was a good size and very well lit with natural light thanks to the sky light. The beds were comfortable with good quality bed linen. Thank you Freya for a fantastic stay!
A stylish lounge area features a dark sofa adorned with vibrant pillows in shades of yellow and metallic. A contemporary piece of artwork hangs on the wall, while natural light streams through large windows dressed with vertical blinds. A lamp and decorative storage box add character.

Stones Throw Cottage close to the beach and town

FionaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Another great stay at Stones Throw Cottage with my 2 young boys. Very nicely done, uncluttered and homely, clean, and comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen. Lovely hot shower! Excellent location in a quiet road with the beach just a 5 mini walk away! Manor gardens is a lovely space 5 mins the other way and connects to a walkway to the other end of the beach which is away from the road too - comes out at the sensory garden next to the Pavillion theatre & cafe. Excellent communication with Deborah before and during stay. Highly recommend. Will return!

Andrew is a great host and the location is really handy for the centre of Exmouth (train station, shops etc) and the beach. it is also a good place for exploring the wider area (East Devon) etc. The street is quiet and the room and bed are lovely and comfortable and the bathroom was big and clean. We had full use of the house which was very kind.

6 bedroom property 2 minutes from the beach.

RachaelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A great house for our stay, a family of 12, including 4 children. The check in was so easy and great not to have to worry about keys!! The house was as described. Clean , warm with great entertaining space and well equipped. Nice big bedrooms with comfortable beds. The outdoor space looked great but we didn’t really use it due to the weather. Beach really close by and a visit to Shaldon Zoo on the ferry was enjoyed by all. I would recommend this house for families!

Cosy Two-Bedroom Townhouse

HelenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Thank you, Alice, for such a wonderful stay in your beautiful home. Alice was very quick to respond and went out of her way to accommodate us. The convenience of a car parking permit was such a thoughtful touch and added to the ease of arriving for our stay. The house looks charming on the outside and was a wow moment when stepping inside. The internal decoration is elegant and thoughtfully designed providing a welcoming and delightful space. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable ensuring we had a restful night’s sleep. The location is perfect, as it is peaceful and quiet, yet an easy walking distance into town and the quayside. Special thanks Alice for the lovely treats you left for us on arrival, the thoughtful balloon for my friends 60th and your flexibility on our departure. Very thoughtful host. We would definitely love to return!

A lovely double fronted 3 bedroom cottage

MariaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a fabulous Christmas and new year break in Kingsbridge. The cottage is ideally situated within east walking distance from restaurants and shops in Kingsbridge and 5 minutes drive from a Tesco and Morrisons supermarket (I recommend the bake house for Bakewell slices). Spectacular coastal walks from Gara Rock, Start Point and hope and the weather was very kind to us. The cottage was a home from home, clean and spacious for our family of 4 and very warm and cosy. I would book again.

A perfect location for getting out and about, easy access onto the A38, and easy parking right outside the property. Molly always replied very quickly to questions and is really helpful, the information pack at the house was brilliant, and the walk across the meadow to the river just across the road from the house is a must do! The Claycutters Arms is fantastic for an evening meal with a good play area for the little ones. The house was perfect for a large family holiday, the stairs are a little steep but you soon learn to adapt, the beds are all comfortable and the whole house is clean and tidy, a great place to stay.

Doray Townhouse - Okehampton

PeterRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We both enjoyed our stay at the house, it was what we expected, the only thing that we didn’t like was the parking the first day was fine, we parked right outside the house, then we found we could not park anywhere near for 3 days as it looked like the next door neighbors had two or three vehicles and took up the spaces. But apart from that it was great.

Stunning views, close to river, quiet road

ElizabethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay in Andrew's cottage. Communication was great. It was just as described, spotlessly clean, warm, very comfortable and an easy short stroll from the centre of Dartmouth. Lovely views from the front across the town. Comfy beds and a very nice kitchen to cook in. There is a terrace at the front for al fresco meals, although the weather was a bit chilly for that during our stay. We managed to park a short walk away. As mentioned in the details there are steps and a slope up to the cottage, and it was set over three floors. Not a problem for our family, and very typical for Dartmouth. We would happily stay there again.
The outdoor deck features tropical palms and a seating area with a cozy bench and two wooden chairs. A small lantern sits on the floor, and numerous plants enhance the space. The sky is bright with scattered clouds, providing a serene backdrop.
