Vacation rentals with beach access in Torbay

We had a warm friendly welcome from Jo - especially for our greyhound! The apartment was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The location was great - just a short walk to the beach.

Great place to stay for two, has everything you need including a well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to the beach and town. Very clean and comfy furniture. Parking was never an issue. Only thing I would note is people live above but this did not disturb our sleep.

We love Brixham and have been visiting for many years. We have stayed in many rentals but this was by far our favourite. The apartment was spotless with super comfy beds - but the icing on the cake was that view! Thank you so much Sara & Andrew, will be booking again for sure.

We had a great stay in a really well appointed apartment in a good spot in town. It was so easy to arrive, park, find our way in and work out important things like the heating. The space was really clean, nicely decorated and furnished, and there were lots of little touches that showed our host was really considerate and had thought about what would make the stay comfortable. Loads of great info in the welcome folder. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone.

What a wonderful find, with a super comfortable bed. I slept like a baby the 3 nights I was there. Beautiful location and spotless. Would highly recommend!

Lovely stay at Merida apartment. Myself, my partner, our 6 month old daughter and my mum stayed here. Very clean and cosy accommodation. Beds very comfortable, travel cot for our daughter was great. The bathroom is very nice also! Fully functioning kitchen with everything you could need which was great for us with a baby! Short 5 minute walk to Torquay harbour which was full of nice pubs, shops and restaurants. Also easy enough to go for a longer walk if want to. Over all accommodation and location were excellent and we are already talking of booking again. Louise was also very responsive in the lead up to our arrival and we met her when we arrived. Lovely lady and a great host

lovely little place within walking distance of town centre, waterfront and endless restaurants and bars. parking outside meant we left car at property and walked into town. peaceful area. size of room was perfect for 2 of us. shower was lovely. host sent messages on day of check in to let us know of a road closure that could have caused us problems which was really helpful.

What a fabulous house for a family break! So much space that for the 11 of us to spread out in,we never felt over crowded. The house was very well equipped,we could all comfortably sit down to eat. The garden was very safe for the children to run around in and it was such a quiet area. David was very responsive to any query I had. I think we could be back next year!

We would highly recommend Elly‘s place. Five stars for everything. Home away from home. It was so clean, the towels were nice and fluffy, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots or utensils you could need, the showers had good water pressure, and the TV offered Netflix. It is within close walking distance from the seafront and you can walk to the main street via the footpath by the railway line within a few minutes. Even though it is situated close to the railway line, you didn’t even notice the trains when they went past. Elly was very quick to respond to messages and help with any of our questions. Again, we would highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely be booking it again next year.

We stayed as a family of 3 during the Easter half term to visit family in Preston. The property was perfectly positioned for us. Local shops and cafe’s nearby were useful, as well as the beach. Inside the property, it has been nicely decorated and was clean. Plenty of space for our family. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of pillows and extra blankets if needed. Outside the property was a designated parking space on the driveway which was great. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

We stayed at Stuart and Alison's AirBnB for a week. Everything is absolutely fantastic. You wake up with the morning sun and can start the day comfortably on the terrace with a coffee. At the pier you have the opportunity to eat, occupy yourself in the Arcades or just take a nice beach walk. In 8 minutes you are on foot in the middle of the city of paignton. So the location is absolutely perfect. The house is very well maintained and clean. If it rains, you will find a living room with TV on the first floor and enough communal games in the storage room to pass the time. All in all, we were extremely happy and very satisfied with everyone offered here. And if you have a question, you can reach Stuart directly and he responds within the shortest possible time. Another great stay at Gull’s Cry. A beautiful area, even out of season. Property has everything you need for a comfortable stay and a well equipped kitchen.

This was the perfect place for our family get together to celebrate 2 '0' birthdays. Lovely spacious living/dining area. Very clean and tidy with an excellent kitchen. We had one very minor issue which was sorted very promptly by Georgina - thank you. Easy walk down to town but the walk back is steep if you have any mobility issues. Georgina had left gifts for the birthday girls which was very much appreciated - thank you. Parking not an issue if more than 2 cars in the group.

What a perfect little stay and beautiful accommodation. Perfect location and very close to beach. Central location not too far from anything. Such a lovely family and Evelin and her family made this a fabulous stay. Will 10000000% be making a return. Spotlessly clean and beautiful interior design. We arrived slightly earlier than we had expected, but were shown in and welcomed. The place is very private and because of its elevation looks out across Brixham where the colourful houses on the other side of the harbour are a constant reminder that you are on holiday. The town is very easy to access if you can manage many steps, and within 5 mins you are at the harbour with its working fishing boats, tour boats and children crabbing alongside the marina. Good quality restaurants, including many fish and chips shops are all within a short walking distance, as well as specialist fish restaurants and a superb tapas bar. If you want to get away from the crowds the SW Coastal Path goes through Brixham from which the wildlife and views are spectacular. We had a very enjoyable weekend in a peaceful but convenient spot that was very clean, and welcoming, and Moira generously left us treats to help us have a good time

My friends and I visited Helena’s place and it was just perfect! It was clean and she had a lovely hamper for us that we all enjoyed. The location was perfect and extremely walkable to the city. It rained for an entire afternoon on our stay but we chose to stay in and there were so many options of movies, games and books that kept us entertained. I would definitely come back :))

We enjoyed an excellent break here over Christmas. The apartment is exactly as described, having large bedrooms with great views over Torbay and a very well equipped kitchen that was a blessing for making a Christmas dinner! Dean was incredibly helpful both before and during our stay and I would highly recommend.

Loved our stay at Rebecca’s place. Lovely, cosy spot right in the centre of Brixham. Easy to find and check-in. Rebecca was lovely and responsive and had recommendations on where to go locally for food. Close walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, and pubs. Great for a long weekend break to explore Brixham and the surrounding areas!

Thanks for having us, was a lovely stay. Anchors Away is a great space that is beautifully done, spotlessly clean and with quality finishes/equipment. Lovely having the outdoor area. Great spot for Torquay and Paignton. And loved the fudge - a really nice touch and treat!

We hope to return again next year! It was perfect.
