Very nicely furnished and perfectly clean place with good furnishings in a very nice village just off a busy road. Lots of great excursion opportunities within an hour's drive! 2 great taverns, nice bakery and also a small supermarket with the most important things within walking distance. 0.1 point deduction for the bed, which unfortunately creaks loudly with every movement. It was exactly what I needed coming from a busy city myself. To awake with the sunrise above the hills and go sleep with the moonshine, all seen from the beautiful terras and garden in a peaceful environment. What I liked the most is the moment you open the curtains of the big windows in the morning, to have that silent glorious moment every day. Everything is there to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. And the host was superfriendly. Freshly baked cookies from his wife and a cold bottle of delicious wine waiting for me made my day. It’s also a great homebase for visiting POI’s in the east like Balos, Elafonissi etc. The local town is small but cute and has some really good tavernes! Strongly thinking of coming back one day for another retraîte!

Absolute bliss. This house is in the beautiful Topolia, a small town on the road to the popular Elafonissi Beach. The actual house is perfect—clean, save, good bathroom, kitchen and stunning view. The bakery and taverns in town are amazing. Much better food than near the beaches. Try the classic crete food and enjoy the wonderful view.
