Little Red Hen *NEW* in 2024

Loved the location, right in the heart of downtown. Very walkable to so many of the shops. The inside was very clean and looked exactly like the listing. Loved the Murphy beds because it gives you plenty of room when they aren’t in use!

2 bdrm/1bth house/boat dock

Lacy's place is even better in person. It was so cozy. She had lots of little touches that made our stay better. We had so much fun with the kayaks, she had logs ready for a fire, lots of places to sit outside. Our family of four was very comfortable. We really appreciated the cold filtered water. The neighbors were all so nice and we even met several Amish families and saw many horse and buggy driving by. It was quite an amazing experience.

We loved this cabin. Close to Goshen family, but a little wooded oasis. Luxury coffee experience, clean space , communicative host, hi end beds, stellar front porch with rocking chairs. Ground floor master bed for my 70 year old mother. Game room for kids is really cool too. Huge dining room table that I’d love to host family get together around We will rent again.

Very pretty and comfortable home. We loved visiting with Karen the chicken and looking at the cows. Michelle was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful with local information. We found the traffic noise to be a challenge.

Mullet's Speed Shop

Easy to find and plenty of area to park. The home was even better than photos. High ceilings and wonderful decor that we really enjoyed, even some pics of hosts family and details added a charming touch. They had fresh cookies, a gift card for a local restaurant and a sweet welcome card upon our arrival. There is pretty much nothing they forgot here... just about anything you could need was provided. We also enjoyed the cows out back and their showy big bull who let us know he was in charge of the rest. What an awesome place and kind family!

This is my second stay at John's Airbnb at this location. The first time was so amazing, and he was very accommodating, that I had to stay at his Airbnb the second time. John made us feel welcome and at ease. I highly recommend staying at John's Airbnb if you're traveling to Shipshewana or the surrounding area.

Yoder's Catfish Cottage (Cozy Lakeside Cottage)

DebbieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Catfish Cottage was more than advertised because of the beautiful outdoor area with lake access. We immediately requested two additional nights after arrival and were thrilled to be able to book them. The two decks with ample seating plus the lower patio in the yard provided so much space to enjoy. We used the charcoal grill and outdoor fire pit. The cottage is very comfortable for four adults and we liked having the separation of upstairs and downstairs bedrooms. The beds are comfortable with plenty of extra blankets provided. The hosts who live next door were nice enough to come say hello on our last day. We enjoyed hearing about the history of their property and how Catfish Cottage came to be! Recommendations for the area: We rented a pontoon boat for the whole day which was located just down the road and already in the water. Definitely recommend the Back Roads Tavern located one mile from the cottage for eating out option.
