Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Topanga Canyon

What a wonderful and beautiful property. We are displaced due to the Palisades Fires and stayed at this property . Peter and Miko were very helpful throughout or stay to make sure that our needs were addressed. We stayed for a couple months and loved the neighborhood as its safe and friendly .... the backyard was a Zen oasis. Each room was very comfortable and had memory foam mattresses. We enjoyed the home immensely and it was a home away from home indeed. Topanga has our hearts.

Casey is an amazingly good business man! He was extremely communicative, professional, friendly, empathetic and responsive. Literally the ideal host. The location is wildly perfect for a recharging getaway that’s near strip malls. The home is very close to Ventura Rd. and near freeways so relatively quickly to get to destinations. Inside the home, the view over the city is spectacular. The place was roomy and relaxing. There is great space for entertaining and hanging with family. Casey made the stay nice. Would certainly recommend it for anyone considering a stay in LA.

This home is really amazing. Nestled near the top of topanga canyon makes its super quiet and peaceful. But only a short car ride to local shops and community. The house is really amazing with lots of great design features and a nice pool out back. The added bonus of a slip stream trailer as a 3rd bedroom was awesome too. We had an amazing time there and would love to go back some time. It felt like a real slice of luxury California living, 5 stars all round!

We stayed at the Hillside Hideaway in Topanga Canyon for three weeks in December while my husband was recovering from surgery. I chose this property for its location, well-equipped kitchen, and sauna—and it did not disappoint! If you enjoy cooking, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare any meal. The space was incredibly cozy and had a wonderfully "homey" feel, which was exactly what we needed. The views are sweet, and the home is just minutes from stores in Topanga Canyon. As someone who’s not a fan of city living, this location was perfect—peaceful and away from the hustle of LA, yet close enough for trips into the city when necessary. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. The hosts were extremely responsive and went above and beyond to help us when we encountered minor issues with the house and during the Malibu fire. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

I’m extremely satisfied with John’s beautiful house, and I can say this is the best place I’ve ever stayed in LA among all of my 17 LA trips. My parents were so obsessed with John’s place and they said they wanna stay here forever. John’s place was so clean, bright, and prestige, which was exactly matched with the pictures. John was also being very responsive and friendly (always reply less than 10 mins). Nice place and totally worthy!

Great home and location, but the very best thing about this property was Carlos! His attention to detail and his drive to make sure everything was exactly how it should be were a fantastic comfort during my entire stay.

The house is exactly as described, Topanga is unbelievably peaceful and tranquil. You can see the hosts have great taste and style. 10/10 would recommend

This was a perfect spot for my husband, daughter and I to sight see Southern California. The location was incredibly safe and grocery stores and restaurants were walkable.

Our place was clean, welcoming and check-in was seamless. Great area with plenty of restaurants, shops, walking spaces to explore and hiking close by. Would stay again!

Everything was perfect about this stay. House was better than described or shown. Much larger than I thought it would be. Perfect for our family as we celebrated my son’s graduation from UCLA. Deck is great. Watched dolphins back and forth all day long. Slept to the ocean waves.

We really enjoyed our stay at Shawn’s place. I plan to stay there again the next time I’m in LA.

I went to celebrate my 50th birthday and this location was exactly what I needed. Walkable location to restaurants, beauty spots and most importantly for me the beach…..since that’s the main reason I came. 🏝️The host gave a special touch to my visit since I was celebrating my special day. I would recommend this place for it checks all the boxes when it comes to location, restaurants, things to do and much more. Even the Uber driver was impressed with the neighborhood/beach location and mentioned they have to come out this way to enjoy Redondo Beach. Thank you again for making my stay extra special.

The way Cliff treated us as guests really touched my heart. To say he goes above and beyond is an understatement. The location was literally perfect for us and it’s such a great deal. It really is a private place. We felt nice and tucked away.

The apartment was clean and had a terrific view. We loved the neighborhood and walked by the ocean everyday.

Been coming back again and again. Just an awesome spot in Venice if your are alone or with a partner. I’ll be back

I appreciated Liza checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable, and her readiness to recommend great places to eat and fun things to do in the area. If I had a question, she answered within minutes. The house is beautiful! It is clean, comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood. This was my first time using Airbnb, and I could not have asked for a better experience!

Vanessa helped make our stay absolutely incredible and it was a once in a lifetime experience. She made us feel right at home with all the amenities taken care of, her stay was equipped with absolutely everything you can need for your stay; from cookware to snacks, even sunscreen because we definitely forgot to pack it. Leading up to the stay, Vanessa also kindly provided us lots of recommendations on what to do and what to see during our short stay. The purpose of our trip was for my brother-in-law to propose to his girlfriend and from the beginning to end of this plan, Vanessa and her assistants were there to help facilitate the process making everything truly so easy to coordinate. We’re so thankful for Vanessa and her team’s hospitality and I would strongly recommend Vanessa’s place in Malibu for everyone looking to visit.

Our stay was Great! The house was really spacious, and it also has an outstanding view to the city of Hollywood.

This was our second year staying in this place. We absolutely love it. The views and sunsets cannot be beat. The home is private clean safe lots of space and great activities. My kids love playing pool great for family barbecue. Rooftop views of the ocean make it worth every penny!

We had a great stay at this house! Our three favorite parts - the awesome views (even better in person), the beautiful pool/hot tub (which was always very clean), and getting to love on Bella (their super sweet dog). Stephen communicates very well. They gave us all the privacy we needed. The house was a perfect size for our family (brought our two kids) and the extra long patio was great. A few areas in the house could use updates (example: the shower knobs are difficult to turn) but it was all clean, which I strongly appreciate.
