"The Stockard Stay Awhile" is located in the peaceful countryside 6 miles west of Athens, Texas off of Hwy 175. Recently remodeled, this charming apartment can sleep 4 comfortably. You will be close to Canton (First Monday) 25 miles, Tyler-45 miles, Cedar Creek Lake -10 miles, or Dallas -60 miles. We are located in a quiet rural area with cows, horses, and birds for neighbors. Come stay awhile and listen to the sounds of the country and soak in the beautiful pastoral scenes.-

Hands down the best part of this house is the large wide open deck on the back porch as well as the party dock! Head up there in the evening with a cool drink to check out gorgeous sunset.

Relax and unwind with our fully stocked home with enough laundry and dishwasher detergent for a few loads! We are one of the few PET FRIENDLY hosts (with a max of 2 dogs) for an additional fee of $50 a night per pet to cover additional cleaning costs, as well as a $50 a night dock use fee- so bring your boat!
