Cottage vacation rentals in Tolox

Wonderful villa and place. We had everything we needed, all we had to do is just enjoy the villa itself and absorb the nature. All bedrooms were well prepared, towels, plenty of pillows, clean, great size bathrooms, also spotless. Kitchen well equipped, pool towels. The garden is breathtaking, loved that there are 3 spots available for dining. 2 pools are incredible idea and everyone enjoyed possibility to choose outside or inside one. Absolutely gorgeous place. Thank you.

Peaceful stay for a week. Beautiful elevated location with panoramic views. Rocabella restaurant at the bottom of the track was great if you dont feel like venturing out far, with a varied menu from light bites to main dishes with burgers, steaks and fish.. My advice would would be to grab some basic groceries from a supermarket prior to going up to the house i.e coffee, bread eggs , drinks etc. I travelled with my ederly mother and the accomodation was suitable for our needs as she is unable to manage steps. There is one twin room downstairs with a bathroom and walk in shower which is next to the kitchen , lounge and outside patio so easy access for her with limited mobility. its would not be suitable for a wheelchair however. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with doors opening onto a patio with table and chairs, perfect for your morning coffee to relish the sun rise and sunsets, and also affording privacy if travelling with others in your group. I throughly enjoyed my stay. 😊

Very nice chalet close to activities while being quiet. Mayte is very nice and available for any questions. The jacuzzi is very pleasant in the late afternoon to relax with stunning views! The most important thing for us is the cleanliness and comfort of the bed and we had it at Mayte's 🤗

We had a great stay at this villa. The villa was clean, the beds were comfy, the pool was great and the views were stunning! it was approximately 20 mins walk to La Joya and 35 mins to Hotel Fuente del Sol, so was easy to get around as well.

We had a great week at Finca el Cerro! Pleasant place and away from the city, which gave us a real feeling of vacation. The owner is very kind, thank you so much for hosting us!

Such an amazing stay! We were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. If you are looking for a modern, luxury home, this may not be for you right away. For us, it was absolutely perfect! The house was clean and everything is provided that is needed. The location is ideal: quiet location. You are at ease, private. The swimming pool is a great asset: pure enjoyment. If I can say 1 point that was perhaps a little less, it is that the toilet and shower are located outside the cottage. (if you have to go to the toilet at night or something) but in itself not disturbing for us. When we had questions, we also received an immediate answer via message. We are very satisfied with our stay and would not hesitate to come back :-)

We had a fabulous few days with the family. The hosts are very attentive to taking care of us, and attending to any needs. The house is full of many details, which made it a real vacation home, (pool toys, hygiene products in the bathrooms, kitchen equipment, protection against insects, candles, and a long list of good things). Clean, nicely decorated, warm. They greeted us with village bread and local oil. Definitely excellent.

The house was great - very spacious for four of us. The location is about 10 min from the end of the Caminito del Rey - we parked in El Chorro and appreciated not getting back on a shuttle bus to get to our car. The views are amazing and 360 around the house. It was hot weather while er were there but the AC works great, and plenty of shade by the pool. Groceries are not close by so stock up before you arrive! Juan was a great host!

Our family of 8 enjoyed staying at Juan's charming & rustic home. If you are looking for a modern Airbnb, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of Ronda, where you can enjoy beautiful views from your deck/patio/private pool & enjoy family time...then this place is for you. When you are ready to leave your comforts of home, you can drive to two of the most beautiful white villages in Andalusia: a quick 10 minutes to Ronda or 25 minutes to the amazing & unique Setenil de las Bodegas. Juan's place has all of the comforts of a mountain home, complete with views of endless stars at night, 2 full bathrooms, enough room to sleep 8 comfortably & two air conditioning units (1 in the main bedroom & 1 in the living room) to keep the house cool. There is no AC in the 3 downstairs bedrooms, but since the rooms are on the bottom floor, they stayed cool at night. Our boys also loved the resident neighborhood cat, whom they named "Sunflower"! A nice house in a beautiful location. The house is well equipped with all the necessities. The swimming pool is very private and really beautiful with the view. We saw 12 large birds of prey while sitting by the pool :) Very cool! A nice place as a base for visiting Ronda and Seville, for example.

Paqui and Jose Antonio were wonderful hosts and met us on arrival in a nearby restaurant to handover keys and direct us to the villa. The villa is superb and perfect for a quiet getaway which is exactly what we were after. It is just a short drive to the town of Coín which has an array of shops and restaurants. We ventured out for some great day trips including Ronda (hour drive west), Nerja (hour drive east), Malaga (30min drive) and a nice quiet beach (Playa del Peñón del Cuervo). The villa felt very spacious for the three of us and could easy accommodate more people. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need as well as an outdoor bbq and great seating. The three of us enjoyed returning to the villa after trips and relaxing round the pool each day. Would certainly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Malaga or the nearby areas and for those looking for a quiet getaway. We would write even more positive feedback if this section did not have a word limit!

Julie’s place is lovely! Rustic in a beautiful way, up in the mountains and close to the land. Being an eco lodge, it’s solar-powered with some constraints around energy use in the evenings, but this wasn’t an inconvenience for us, even as a group of 8 squeezing in. The outdoor area in particular is special - with a large dining table, grilling area, pool, and sports area, all with spectacular views of the surroundings. Julie is a wonderful host, incredibly kind, communicative and accommodating. If you stay at her place you’ll be in great hands

A great place to spend time with family, surrounded by mountains. Parents will find peace, while kids can have fun in the pool. Everyone enjoyed playing ping pong in the terrace. Inside the house, there’s enough space for two families. There are air conditioners in every room, although we didn’t use them at all – even when it was +30°C outside, the house stayed pleasantly cool. Arriving at the villa at night felt a bit extreme, so it’s important not to rely solely on navigation – pay attention to the signs as well, especially when you’re close to the villa. Jose is a very warm and friendly host 👌

What a great find! We had a brilliant stay - the pool terrace and location are the stand out, what a view! María was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the house was very comfortable. We are already planning our return!

Juan was a really kind and welcoming host. The house and swimming pool were clean, and the BBQ area was amazing. We also loved the ping-pong table—great for some fun evenings! A special thanks to Juan for sharing freshly picked oranges with us, it was such a thoughtful gesture! We definitely recommend the place.

Elena is very friendly and helpful. She also gave us good tips, for example, how to park for free in Málaga. We enjoyed staying in their apartment very much. It is very quiet and a little further away from the village of Cártama. It is small as described, but completely adequate. We loved the garden in the evening at sunset and in the morning at breakfast. Thanks for the time!

David was great, I wish I spoke Spanish as well as he speaks English. We had a minor issue with the boiler which David resolved immediately. Only thing I would suggest is a 'manual' for the house so we knew about the boiler, washing machine etc but perhaps difficult if he has to do it in French, German, English etc! But a very minor point, we had a great and very comfortable week in David's house. Recommended! Simon
